COOL! I have some exciting viewing when the kiddies hoit the sack. Wish I had a few beers to go with it really kind of in a beer mood tonight. Kind of a bitter/sweet night tonight.

Excellent vids guys!!!!!
Nothing better to get you pumped up before a ride.
Isn't the Ulster pace faster than most gp tracks?
The TT is my fav though, I think it's because of the jumps, the ulster look a little like a gp track smooth and really fast.
Going to watch fastest with the Austin rider group on monday... can't wait to see the isle of man doc.

Does anyone have a pics of their 14's rear tire. Sometimes I think I'm leaned close to max but my chicken strip say otherwise.

Newbie
This is pretty normal for me on the street, 40-45 psi. I got it to half that on the right, about 1/8 inch. i didn't think I would ever get it totally cleaned off.
But then I did a track day. it was actually not difficult at all. It was worn almost up to the edge from just doing the first laps to get familiar with the track

First thing I do, after putting on new rubber, is find an empty parking lot to scrub them in.
Sweet vids, Guys... Sittin' in Ohio, bored outta my mind ... needed that... Thanks!

Was home a couple days then had to fly back (sure you can figure out why)... Not coming back with a 14r, but am working on shipping back a Honda Dream.

You may wear the tire closer to the edge if you lower the tire pressure. I don't like that fir the street. Works great for the track ---do a lap and the tire gets so hot the internal pressure goes way up. Never happen on the street----unless you are insane.
now that being said, do you lean harder just because you wear the tire out farther to the edge on lower tire pressure???? My guess is YES, you lean a little harder because now the tire feels "normal" at high tempn instead of too hard. Or NO, you just have a larger contact patch at lower pressure which now includes more or all of the edge. I'm sure the truth lies somewhere between YES and NO. My point is chicken strips don't tell how fast you corner on the street. A lot depends on your tire size, your weight and your riding style. On the track, you would need to try to not lose your chicken strips.

Rook I'm jealous that melted tire looks like a lot of fun.
Dogo I hope everything is fine!!!
Can of worms huh! loool
I made a list I'm going to stick to...lol try to anyways:
galfer race rotors, shorai, v stacks and custom map, muzzy block off, pipercross filter, speedohealer, suspension upgrade and lighter wheels. lool
Since the 14R is out they aren't going to come up with a ton of new mods for the 14 so I should be safe.

The suit makes me look skinny but the extra room up front give me a nice gut... Go figure loool. Nice suit though need to brake it in a little more and get a chest protector for it.

wishful thinking. They will prolly fit between both, most of them. I'm about done with the 14 mods. Ordering an HM quickshifter, LSL sliders, Pazzo shorties (just to see if they are in fact identical to the $40 chinese ones I already have)and prolly a set of Tri Rs. That would just about do it. Only thing left would be NOS.
Dragking you look cool. wish we had good conditions here. I'd suit up too.

Jeffo u are just having too much fun... you're definitely getting good return on your investment (tires). We have pretty good roads here so I'm definitely not pushing the 14 like I should. The thing that's holding me the most is the elevation changes you climb up or descend and have to negotiate turns. I have bad turning points, I steer slow and can get on the throttle early. Once I improve I'm gna travel the country a la kill Bill and give all of you pros a good run for your money loool
Rook don't feel bad summer will be here before u know it, plus u re doing good maint projects and mods. yeah.. I'm afraid the mods will fit both models. I thought I was gna be firm on the list but Seno quickshifter on his 14R looks sweet. I bet upshifts at lean angles are going to be smooth. I'm still sticking to the list I just keep adding to it.
