Yoshimura Watch Out
09/12/13 4:32 PM

If you have ever experienced a warranty issue with Yoshimura, be prepared to be welcomed by lack luster customer service and disappointing lack luster service. I am deeply disappointed by how they attempted to address an issue with my pipes. Every bike I have owned have reped Yosh! This might be time to trade my slips for something else. Shame!

The are less expensive for a reason.

Brocks or muzzy in black gets my vote.

Actually I got my Muzzy's for $745 from Muzzy's website. Pretty great price for slip-ons. But I do like the yosh's too Wolf! I like the way they sound, its a different, almost creamy kinda tone.

When I bought my used 2Bros, they were missing some hardware. Called 2Bros, told them they were used and I needed parts. They shipped everything I needed, free! Awesome people!

Im happy with the sound and look of mine. Street pipe perfection and I wanted 2 pipes for the balanced look.

Tow and others,
I love my yosh! I had probably hit some rocks and in the process some had flung up and cracked my pipe (chain side!). I took a pic and sent it to Yosh! They are under warrantee and pointed out they should not crack that easily. I asked to replace the pipe! They thought I was crazy, maybe I was but it took one month and an endless chain of emails to finally get them to agree on a discount price replacement. I told em I've been running yosh since I've rode a motorcycle. I got my m license in 1989!!! Been riding since age 21 (when insurance costs allowed). That's a lot of yosh!!!!

I love the sound look, fit and finish. The customer service - SUCKS!!!

Weren't we just discussing this C!

Man!

I had similar experiences with Leo Vince on my husky. The pipe is a titanium work of art, but good luck getting any support after the sale. I was looking for a few heat shield bolts and those fools acted like they didn't know what I was talking about.

I'm going where the customer service is from now on, which is why I'll buy Brock's when I have the cash.

It's hard to go wrong with a set of yoshis! It's unfortunate customer service had to give you a hard time!

"Predator Racing Nightstalkers Pro"

Hey Wolf, what can you tell us about these pipes? I never heard of them. I've been looking at the Yoshi R77's but I'm leaning more toward the Muzzy's now since you had bad customer service with Yoshi.

Wolfy,

How new are they? Are you the original owner of these pipes? I mean, why go to Yosh on this? Who did you buy them off of? Were they bought direct from Yosh or a big bike warehouse on the net? Was the box crunched on delivery? Was it in a different box than say a Yosh labeled box? I can't see how a rock would be kicked up that far away from the wheel? Your front wheel had to hit first. I can see a ricochet if the rear tire hit first, the front was too narrow and missed it. That I can see.

But for that kind of crack, I'm imagining here, somewhere there has to be a few scratches or an indent on said area? I wouldn't call that warranty? That's like crashing the bike. How hard was that bang? If say a stress crack and no visible impact? See what I'm saying?

It sounds to me like they treated you very well considering you're not describing a warranty issue. That's one issue with carbon fiber is that it won't stand up to these types of encounters as well as good old SS. Suck it up.

Your attitude reminds me of customers that bring a piece of jewelry back to my wife's store and expect us to replace it for free. When they come at it with the attitude you seem to have we tell them to buzz off. If they are more reasonable we bend over backwards to help them. These days everybody wants something for nothing and their MTV for free.

Hub bought with bike then bill lost in abyss! I am happy with the discount they replaced my pipe for 129 so I am very pleased. I have had a lot of bikes and I have been loyal to the brand. So thanks Yosh. It did take quite a bit of chasing and emails. Glad I did not have to Suck it up. A dealer close by suggested the course of action.
Alls good!

The Predator Racing Team, is a brand C Blast and a few good men are building. C had an idea to create an exhaust called the Night Stalker. I'll let C take over and post up his ideas! Currently this pipe is in R and D, but when it hits shelves, bye bye Yosh!
