Already got that suggestion at Bikeland. Can't do it. 5 degrees F. Wouldn't dream of waking poor Mimi up in that cold even if the geeeerage is 10 degrees warmer than outside.
I have a guy at Bikeland who is telling me he has Muzzy BO Plates on his 09. No FI light. Works fine. Emailed Curt at Muzzy and he says:

Have not heard of that issue I have looked over some chat room sites and did not find a reference.

I have been told that the G2 Kawasaki ZX-14 (08-10) will trigger the FI error light if the AIS system is removed.
If install the Muzzys reed vale block off plates, is there any way to avoid the FI light from being triggered?

When it warms up 30 degrees or so, I will try starting the 14 with any wires I can find disconnected from the PAIR. We'll see if a code comes up. I think Ivan might have got you for $10, dogo.
Those are some nice looking plates anyway. I'd get them myself but I like the billet plug that Muzzy includes with their plates.
Hey Dogo, you're younger than I am. weren't we discussing this back around the time you first started to consider a Gen 2 ZX-14? This is all starting to sound very familiar.
