I tried a few tweeks, windscreen, and some little cosmetic stuff. But, stock is hard to beat. My Kawasaki dealer is a pita and I'm still waitin on the front sprocket

"But, stock is hard to beat"...yes...it is.I like the stock screen and all...not the mufflers...too heavy...but soundwise...yes.No risers either...took those off...I really like the way the bars are...didn't think I would...but I do.Your blacked out mufflers do look good on there...no need really to change...it's not THAT much weight.
I won't be going back to my stock ECU and all though...this flashed one is VERY smooth.

Yeah, I think the only things I have on the agenda is a flashed ecu and a set of slip ons. Spent two days riding with no TC, weather has been flawless. This ma fucka is a wheelie beast in the bottom 3! :)))

Awww geeezzzzz....Took off my cheap Chinese iridium racing (haha) windscreen and put the stocker back on. Grn14, you are right. It was surprisingly comfortable even at higher speeds. Now I might have to remove my cheap Chinese adjustable footpegs and my expensive American risers and try the stock parts again. If I do that and put on the stock pipes the bike will be completely stock. Might be fun to try it !!!

You know a Mod is only as good, as it suits the ride, fit and preferences of the rider. Keeping it real and true to thy self C
C seen your, you are looking at the same culture. Only difference is this is a samurai sword on two wheels. I'm going to go mod a sword fresh from she pan, she pan, da plane, da plain fact is, it is not the parts. You have to put some mean in the suit or she is going to be same oldull cuts like a... Who farted?
Awwwwww Cheeze IS, I took off my your rid of them (HA) windisscreen is I reached around and got disshit hanging on me sword. Now I have to remove the cheezeass adjustables and rise to the occasion I go back all stock sword.
Cheeze IS H C is we came full circle. Did you do her? I told you not to mess with local shitstain parts is parts. Chan lure you into shield? Not. Chan dull leer show me how to shape? D'uh! Chan due lace your wallet you come sea the lite? Yeah right.
Ahhhhhhhh, a bear claw is mean at the grip. Suit up nextime. Makes me ballswell I can't even zip up the undiesandshit...

Well Hub, everyone wants to make the bike their own. Problem is the stock bike is so competent it simply doesnt need anything. Yup...looks like full circle and wasting my money on mods....lol !!

Sracer, After years working on [customer] bikes, I've made more money repairing modded bikes than plain old servicing bikes. I've always kept mine stock seeing the horror [stories] and all that rod knock, oil loss, piston bang, breakdown, [I grounded my pc] this way and down the road I'll be missing one of the 3amigos is a mod stole my she wrap pee.

She wrapee the wire like this. A mod is fine, but it's all about how it's executed. Like tape two wires or use that cone with the coiled spring in it and you tie both wires into it till it stops. Behind the wall switch parts is parts. I'm all about mods, but I am not going to go against some wind tunnel and some knockoff that has zip R&D.
Pipe/peg/parts is parts, no aftmkt part really fits well like an OE part.
And say that rag shootout of pipes? I don't know if you were around at the pond when Muzzy was on line? He challenged Brock and that's says a [confident] call out. And did Muzzy come thru? I think [some might] seem it looks cocky, but the man has something found and ain't saying WOT.
I know a few guys like that.

Put the stock cannons back on and going for a ride shortly. I have 4 different exhaust combos for the 2012. None ride as smooth as the stockers. The stainless Boz Bros (street gild) are light, nice looking, not too loud and have a great burbling sound when decelerating. The red, cheap chinese, fake carbon fiber and stainless mufflers were left over from a previous bike so mounted them to the Boz Bros mid pipes. They have removeable baffles. Too loud with the baffles out, not bad with them in but the color is wrong !!! I didnt know that until my wife pointed that out to me...lol. Then the Hedman hot tips mounted to a couple of autozone adapters. They are too loud for me (and my neighbors) but they really perform. Throttle response with them mounted is unreal. Slightest touch of the throttle is met with immediate acceleration. Too bad they are so loud. If I was ROOK I would have weighed them all too. The Hedmans would be the lightest.

I really like the look of the Muzzy dual stainless oval slip-ons in Black. I have had Muzzy pipes on 2 Kawasaki sportbikes, and I think if slip-ons come, old school is wise school.

The nice thing with quiet stock though is that when I run back roads hard, and I mean hard, no one calls the cops because I am pissin them off with my fart cans. I got the front end to push a little in the left hander yesterday... :))) rolling on a little hard with tc off and I feel the snow plow and easeeeee off push roll I'm am fing out! :))
