Don't hold your breath. Actually, please go ahead. LOL.
Will be calling Tri-State Motorcycle Service this week to make an appointment. I want to know what the real numbers are, now that I know I like the seat-of-the-pants part of Jeffo's map.

Look forward to seeing those AFR #'s in the middle. Cells in the map file that get -30s always get my attention.
Great thing your doing Private, No More BS...... If he out shines your Brock Map and is not lean up the middle Pints on Me...... I'm still asking how over the phone. Crystal Dyno Maybe. As you know with the two strokes Lean feels Crisp and nice,,,,4 a little while anyway lol. 4 strokes more forgiving. But still not good if you ride in that RPM for very long.

I'm calling to make a dyno appointment. Won't cost me but like $35 if that, for a simple dyno pull to generate a jpeg file so I can post it.
I rode a lot today, and the more I ride mine with Jeffo's map, the better I'm liking it. It used to be a freight train, now its more a bullet train.

I can see why, now, blue07.
Like I was in the gravel hell of Gettysburg PA KOA, and here the difference between my very good Brock Davidson custom track-to-street map and F.A.I.C. map.
Brock - got rid of the hesitation off idle nicely
F.A.I.C. - same thing, and made the progression from idle to 3,500 more linear and silky smooth
Brock - pulls from 3,500 in 5th gear really well
F.A.I.C. - same thing, but noticeably stronger and quicker
In fact, I pulled from 3,500ish in 6th gear this weekend to go around two cages in not a lot of passing room, and she just flew past them and ended up going like 100 mph unintentionally.
So the F.A.I.C. map is not night and day better than the Brock I have, and maybe not in all areas. But I love the strong pull off idle and in roll-on pulls.
So I really want to see the dyno of it.

Just curious, Priv... Why'd you have Brock "tweak" his track map for you as opposed to just running his street map?
Anyone have any ideas as to why Jeffo is the ONLY "tuner" that uses the accel pump utility? ![]()

I was talking to Brock Davidson on the phone, and we were talking about how I ride, and my mountain roads, and such, and he said he'd pre-load a good map on my PC3 based on their track map.
When I view the map on the DynoJet software, it has Brock Davidson's name and says its a track map. But its clear he tweaked it some for street manners.
Put another way, I had no clue what I was doing, and when he said he'd pre-load the map I was in 7th heaven like "ALL RIGHT I don't have fool with that now". And it was way cool the way the bike just fired up after I installed the piggy and ran like a bolt of lightning. And best of all, quit stumbling off idle.
So in the end, none of it was my idea at all.

Gotcha... But didn't you still have to set the TPS?

Not my first time at the rodeo. If I don't like it, I'll call Jeffo, tell him what seems wrong to me, and we'll work out a tweak to fix it.
I was thinking you may re install the The Brock Map that was made for your pipe on a Dyno. Missed the play of calling Jeff to fix,,,,,(my bad) It begs the Question why not call Brock get him to fix his map ?
I like to be a Fly On The Wall when he gets the call that Jeffo out maped him,,,, Now that would be a Good one. All in good fun of course. ![]()

Hmmmm...I'll just take a guess here...since it IS a part of the performance settings with the PCIII....he does have a definite set of values which appear to be correlated with the "personal" settings he created in his maps(alt.Temp...stuff like that).Just like setting the TP.IDK...but his deal seems to work okay.Mine runs way better than using the Muzzy online map from Dynojet for my application. There is a noticeable difference in performance and driveability.

I'm maybe not being clear about my experience with Brock's track-turned-street map. Other than a distinct decel pop even with a plugged PAIR, I have no complaints about the map. It is excellant. When I talked to Brock about the pop, he really didn't seem interested in addressing it since that was my only complaint.
In light of that, my saying I really like the F.A.I.C. map is somewhat surprising to me. But it really does smooth out and strengthen off-idle roll on and high gear low rpm roll on, enough that I can tell the difference.
Or think I can. There's the rub.
I know about what my max HP was before I put Jeffo's map on, based on some old dyno charts no longer on the Brock's Performance site (but if you dig you can find them), plus a little HP for my stacks and ceramic coating and Pipercross. That is why I want to dyno the bike as it sits now, so I can see how it does.
But again, when it all comes down to it for any of us, if it suits how you want to ride, and doesn't give you problems, what the dyno says shouldn't matter.
Except a few of us just want to know. LOL.

I know you have read this as well. If pop gone is important, just try TRE006A. The boys that have cracked into the ECU reported "it does absolutely NOTHING but stop the Fuel Cut" which as you know = NO More Bang.
I'm currently trying to make a Auto Tune Turbo Map and that F en Fuel cut sending AFR #'s all over the place. Man, I hate hate hate that Fuel Cut. Should be on a switch. You know, Race or Touring. Gear display is nice though. First time I have seen one in 4 years lol.
I have no Idea why it's even called TRE, should just be called FC. Hey, rename and make a fortune lol.

The cells in wide open throttle were close to the same so peek Hp must be close to the same. It's the middle I am curious to see. Lots of Fuel pulled where Most All Other Tuners have added.
It would appear Most who have tried like the New crisp setting. I'm sure Jeff must have added some fuel after the flame throwing pics some of the guys posted. Rofl. That being said Jeff should have paid for Monsters Burnt plugs, Me thinks,,,, I would Have.
If the AFR #'s are good ////////// Why Not ? 50 Bucks to play.

Jeffo told me to run specific plugs, not the OEM plugs. So I put the recommended plugs in. I have put hundreds of miles on the map and no problems so far.
I may yet put a TRE on, but not a "normal" TRE, rather an ATRE from Cal-Sportbike / HealTech with the remote gear indicator LED display which I could put up on the console.
But I'm holding off on a lot of stuff waiting to see if A&A Performance ever gets around to doing the ZX14 supercharger. I'd rather have the engine as stock as possible going into it.
Oh I've just corresponded with Lyle (dubious) about Turntech batteries, and he mentioned he has a CycleLogic turbo kit complete available for $3,000 which he took off a bike he is parting out.
So if anyone wants a turbocharger, contact dubious.

Interesting... One of the maps I was sent (for my CT) is specifically for use with a TRE 006a.
I've never run it since I still have not installed a TRE 006a in my zx14. I've run, and monitorded AFR's with, two different maps in my 14, Brocks flies in street map and another forum member's custom map done by Eric at EDR Performance in Portland, OR. The EDR map is just a little bit leaner that Brocks across the board. My bike runs great with both, but initial throttle response is just a little bit more "crisp" (when initally whacked open) with the EDR map.
my saying I really like the F.A.I.C. map is somewhat surprising to me. But it really does smooth out and strengthen off-idle roll on and high gear low rpm roll on, enough that I can tell the difference.
Lean is mean! But how lean is too lean??? My RM250 was pulling like it was a KX500 right before I melted the piston.
... just sayin'.

Now that's a great idea!

You and me both!... You heard anything from Dan lately?
Oh I've just corresponded with Lyle (dubious) about Turntech batteries
Lyle is a great guy. I'd buy a batt from him... if he sold Shorais. I'd think the 18ah would be a good, light weight battery for your Super Connie, Priv. Why are leaning towards the Turntech?

Now that's funny. I can answer that 1.... Hold Your Ankles. What happens next U won't like.
about Turntech batteries, and he mentioned
That they only work above 72F and don't turn over that strong. Don't Do It.

Hold Your Ankles. What happens next U won't like.
Some things Lyle had to say back in Sept. 2009...
I had some real issues with a certain turbo vendor who argued with me for a week about the stuff I bought off him, and since he thought it was OK to ship me a pile of shit that did not bolt up I am very confident I would have gotten fucked over without the internet available to discredit his poor work and poor ethics.I firmly beleive the internet is the only reason he fixed the deal.
After arguing, then sending over 20 pictures...and more arguing...
I was told I was lucky he was fixing parts that did not bolt up, or clear the balancer casting because they had sat in a box in my garage for a year.... WTF?I paid $5000 , then had to relocate my family, sell and buy homes, start a new job and simply did not have time to bolt it up since my engine was out and torn down when it arrived.
I guess the header and wastegate tube magicaly changed shape sitting in the box?
It wouldn't be the first time someone has had problems with that product, or persons work, as I found out.
I have come to realise do to the border and lack , or difficulty of legal recourse, many send their junk or blemished items north to Canada.
