Thanks for the prayers Blue, I do my best to keep my ass in one piece - I mainly pray for our troops though, they're the ones who do all of the dirty work... I can leave and come home whenever I want. Yeah, I love the graphics/color on the SE as well, had thought about spraying it, but let those thoughts go once I got it to this point! Just hoping that the new one is at least as pretty as our "old" bikes are!!!!

You can'tell a dick buy its pants on and you can't tell what that bike will look like. No photo will give it justice. It has to be physically seen before you make comment.

Nice lady getter, btw.

Looks awesome, but I'm sure I'm ready to trade my 2010 just yet.. I only put 1200 miles on over the summer. I definitely like the 2012, Will probably stop by my dealer and get the scoop anyway lol

The main journal diameter is 40mm up from 38mm....
the rods are 3mm longer....
the bay to bay breathing windows are revised....
the compression ratio is 12.2 not 12.3 like that article says.....
The deck height has been raised....
Cams are bigger...

Intake was 9.1mm lift, is now 9.3mm
Exhaust was 8.5mm lift, is now 9.3mm lift

Cam chain is longer and stronger with new gears and guides....
the header has been retuned.....

The old primairy was 1.5" the new one is 1.5" stepped to 1.681" with a new collector....
The throttle bodies are still 44 mm.....
The ports are "polished"....

The chambers are CNC shaped much like the BMW 1000r.....
the rod stroke ratio is 1.77 now.....
up from 1.70 as on a gen 1 +5mm stroker engine....

New MECHANICAL ratchet chain tensioner with hydraulic assist......
The valves are the same size..... the intake valves are .4mm longer ......

From HERE.
