Would you agree, Grn, that is high speed, that is you, correct? I know you have a computer, don't hide it. Are you saying that is you come up, I know some roads? Put everyone out to clean up. Where ass the police could be caring for some kid slammed by a drunk driver? No, you have to swing those balls out... dragging the ground by now...

Hey, you two pulled stakes. There was discussion about a new bike. Grn, you did not buy a dud. I'm already in negotiations with a few dealers. They'll take my 14 in a trade in a heartbeat. That is cash right there waiting. I need a rack and I told my nephew to come early and work on it. Is he here? No. Are you here? No. Is plusboy here? No.
Is my ass ready for an R? Yes.

You'll become the darling of the YouTube crowd, instant respect, fame and fortune cause you now Da Man!
Celebrity status? LMAO!

That's the thing, how many kids show up on a new Beemer or other 180 HP wonder bike and get lapped by that old geezer on his SV 650 twin? It happens all of the time, it ain't how much power you got it's how you use it that counts. If you try to tell me different I will spank you...Lool!
Check out the vid of the girl riders. Isn't that the chick who's boyfriend built a turbo busa and she said, "I can do that" and broke a Bonneville speed record on it. How would she do on an AMA Superbike race her first time? Can you say meat wagon? You can't compare straight line speed with carving up a track, one is hang on and twist the other takes years of skill.
Back in '06 I'd had my 14 for a little over a month and broke 160 mph on a two lane road chasing 1Bad. I had zero skilz at the time, was just being stupid and didn't want to let him get away. Luckily, I had the sense to back off before I hit some old farmer in a haywagon.

Those are some FOGs, Fast Old Geezers on CB-160s with skinny tires. I just don't think Green gets it yet, how fast some people can go on a track with even a small bike. It's not the size of the stick but how you wield it that matters.

DragKing, the title of this thread should have been "2 Reasons Why you Shouldn't Buy a 14R If You Already
Own a 14".
I checked into the other thread a few moments ago and it appears some folks over there have got the wrong idea and think we're 14 haters. Nothing could be further from the truth, a lot of us have owned 14s since the beginning, we love our 14s , just don't want to trade 'em in. I don't get it why that generates so much hate. A 14R does not equal a 14 plus a new literbike for trackdays. Sorry but the math does not work!

Dude, you are so freekin biased, how many times has Green said "This bird's really different", "I don't know but this birds really different", I can't tell ya how different this bird is", etc. over and over and over again but you fail to note that. We're looking for some objective data, maybe when Hub get's one he can supply us with some.

"Will already be plenty of "geezers" beatin' up on me at the track"....those are Beemers. You mean,Beemers.
"A 14R does not equal a 14 plus a new literbike for trackdays"...especially if you own 5 bikes. You guys with only one bike...losers.And you can't do math right either.
Thanks Mark...sa'll good. These guy have this topic so totally fucked it is virtually unreadable now. From "why I don't like the 14R" to..."go race dogo and get a NAME for yourself..then we'll bow down to your highness".
You mean...I'm not the King of the Forum?Already?I thought I was the way 'everyone' talked about me so much
Amazing....I'm sitting here grinning and shaking my head.Absolutely amazing. Then ya got the HUb there...bro says"some couple of straight line videos"...there they are...in LIVING color....42 vids of twisting high speed riding...and he makes a statement like that.Fuckin amazing!!!!!Just a footnote here....that 'chinzy straight line video' just happens to be a 191 mph run...for R$D purposes ONLY.Not intended to prove I have a set.
All you new guys...welcome to the internet version of "one flew over the KooKoo's nest"FUC!
"Now Green, if you go to that track and make a name for yourself, that's a completely different story".Ya..you mean...if I do it YOUR way,on YOUR time,at YOUR track....nice.

And I'm the one living in a dreamworld.

Nice vid Dogo.Looks like fun for sure.Only one thing though that I find kinda,well...I don't really know how to say it....I'll just say it doesn't look TO ME any different than the roads I have here.Except these ones here...you only get ONE lane to do what that guy's doin with basically three lanes of space.Gotta say..lookin at the 'speed' of that video....he doesn't look to me like he's goin any faster than I would normally ride through my curves and stuff.??????In fact, lots of my rides are on tighter stuff than that by a long shot...going at least as fast as he is.?????
I'm not sayin I'm better than him...I'm not.Hub said it himself...you don't have to be some 'know' rider to get yer groove on...and it doesn't mean you think your a better rider or whatever.I don't 'race' anyone but ME....whether that's being skilled,or going fast,or whatever.I'm just being me...not anyone else when I ride.

Dr. Kruz your freudian psychology analysis was on point loool
As for Mark. I don't know how to deal with him. When he say stupid shit (to stay in the stomach-digestion lexicon) you have to figure out whether he's high or not. Either way he says stupid stuff sober and UI so...
I understand his pain though. He doesn't have a 14 or a 14R. Talk about being frustrated.
Kruz, what do you mean out running old geezers.I'll have you know I resemble that remark, bet I can out run you to the washroom, damn prostrate

DragKing, the title of this thread should have been "2 Reasons Why you Shouldn't Buy a 14R If You Already

Time for more serious stuff. I checked the claimed euro figures on the Panigale and ZX-10R. Panigale Power:195hp, wet weight:188kg. The Panigale weight distribution: 52% front 48% rear, the weight distribution becomes 50/50 after the rider gets on it! The new ZX-10R: 197hp, wet weight: 197kg. I'm bringing this up because I think that Ducati strategy is going to have to be the way to go in the hyper bike competition. They are matching or exceeding BMW and ZX-10R power but tremendously reducing weight. They are also adding state of the art electronics and really sexy dashboard with tons of info. If Suzuki wants to be competitive with the Busa they are going to have to do the same. Same power but less weight better TC and stuff like electronic suspension settings, tire pressure sensors etc. More HP=More need for electronics. Therefore, Motogp technology is going to find its way to our bikes faster. It's going to be really exciting to see this thing unfold.

"I'm just laughing because I'm sure he's OK BTW"...like you're 'sure' about the Ktrc robbing the bike of rough power...especially when it's 'turned off'. Einsteins.I'm surrounded by Einsteins .Like you've actually ridden the bike and worked with the Ktrc...right?So you pick apart my little miscalc on the rpms deal...and that somehow 'proves' that us guys owning a 14r can't possibly know how our bikes are operating.Only the guys who don't want one...they're the 'experts"...right?I'm getting this right aren't I?Just wanted to get that straight in my mind here..crazy geezer that I am ya know .

lol From what I'm seeing Dogo... forget about the riding skills, you need to work on your 40 dash lol those old guys can run. See the guy in the white leather? He's got nfl corner speed lol If you don't get pole position forget about catching up. They are going to be gone!
I'd be screwed, lol.

He picked up the camera at the end... and was no worse for wear... Would not have posted otherwise.
