No, it looks like a short doesn't have the v= in it. It doesn't have watch? in it either. I'll settle on posting longs and if I can get that straight, I'll worry about shorts. It's cut watch? and change v= to something, isn't it?

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XSi2I5kCxaQ This shows no brackets like {url} or [utube]

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XSi2I5kCxaQ This shows /v/ that replaces shorts... so it does work.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XSi2I5kCxaQ This has to have brackets ([]) and utube spelled within the brackets. So brackets on the left are called open brackets and at the end of the http line shows the closing brackets with the forward slash or [/] for the format to work.

I'm going to show how the short works like the longer v=? but without the forward slash so you can see how it looks:
[utube]https://www.youtube.com/v/XSi2I5kCxaQ[utube] Add the forward slash in the closing bracket and it goes hot showing the short video.

I remember the [utube] brackets with the word "youtube" spelled correctly and the ending bracket has the / before youtube.

All you did to the short url is change the "shorts" to "v".

Lets see if I can remember how to post a long...you might have jogged my memory.

Yes, a Butter Bean fight.
It won't play on my end but I notice that I can advance
the preview of it, and see different frames throughout
the video, it just won't play and no sound.

Simply paste the url in the youtube tags , cut watch? and turn the = to a /

is that jow it goes, Hub?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KV93c6hyoiM

turns to

https://www.youtube.com/v/KV93c6hyoiM

...in the youtube tags, of course.

Go to my nephew's place to see the HD basket case he bought. Made a list of what he needs and then I get it to put it together. While he's there waiting with the garage door open, I pull in and turn the bike off. We then hear the bubbling of the bike. I knew it was the coolant making that noise, but didn't catch the coolant temp meter. Grab some distilled and topped off the sub coolant container. I should have topped off the radiator but he had no metric tools.

I head home and that needle flew past the red danger mark and pegged for the wall where it stopped. I thought I should pull over but continued home saying if it seizes, oh well... good for parts for someone. Only stopped once for the off ramp, gave it the go and it knocked like a mother.

Get to my garage and the bike shuts down quicker than normal. I walked in the house and would deal with it tomorrow. Morning comes, I walk out, light it up and look at the garage door for oil smoke. Not a puff and the bike sounds quiet and normal. Needed a little over 16oz at the radiator. Install the pressure tester, peg the 18lbs and wait. Then I see the front of the bottom of the radiator begin to drop every few seconds or so.

Been doing that for who knows how long. Never see a dry puddle of green on the floor so who knows. Getting to all this, I'm guessing the 2qts of 50w racing save it. Someone convince me that oil goes bad after 5+yrs, but explain 30+yrs to me saving this engine.

For sure I'm going to change the oil and obviously the coolant. Rip the oil filter open and see if it tore itself up. Man, I love oil threads so I can prove them there fallacies on the net.

Yes Rook, you got it. I watched the whole fight, no blips or anything.

Heat, stirring and dirt is what makes oil go bad (i.e. it was used in an engine). Otherwise, it's like honey. five thousand years later, pretty much the same thing it always was.

Thanks. I'll make a thread because I will probably forget this again. Maybe we can add the shorts code. I have no idea how you figured that one out, we didn't even have shorts when this forum was created. ...actually, we had a lot of short videos back then so people would watch them but they were just normal videos that were a length people wanted watch. Now we have mostly videos that are so long, I wont even click on them unless I'm extremely interested. Back in the day, it was 2 minutes or forget it. Now, it's advertising dollars.

OK now I see the logic in 'shorts' videos, I hate them, narrow portrait
instead of landscape , and comment section is dumbed down, I always
click the ''show me less shorts vids'' prompt.
I guess I can see how people like them, but I pay the subscription
so don't see ads at all.
I let long videos play if they don't jerk me around wasting time
and not getting to the point, provided the content is good.
If crappy content, they get dinged if I cut the video short,
so that works for me payback for stringing me along.
I also skim through a few comments to see if the channel
is full of sht or useful.
They should get to the point right away , the drag out
whatever they want to drag out.

Tell ya wut......

I see all ads but it's easy enough to click them off, usually and the ads aren't that frequent. Whatever video it is, it has to grab me in the first couple minutes or there's no way I'm watching any more. There's a lot of videos that look interesting but it kind of kills it when I realize they're AI. Some of those are actually worth watching a few times but I'm not going to be a loyal follower.

I use Motul 7100. I have about 50K miles on my ZX14R. Recently I had to change it because they ran out of 7100 at my shop so I tried Bel Ray EXS full synthetic, so far so good. I'll probably stick the the expensive oils just for peace of mind, plus the shifts are noticeably cleaner. The best oil you can get is fresh oil, just don't forget your oil change intervals!

I'll try Motul next change.
