Dainese are super nice. I'm waiting for the rebel to go back on sale this spring... it was about 90 bucks cheaper but the sale ended before I got my teamzilla cash from previous orders!
@Kruz I'll definitely check Moto Liberty. I wanted to see San Antonio. Probably next weekend.
I was actually thinking about this one
They're saying it's good for 1 crash! Regardless, I will only use it for commuting for the serious stuff: leather.
My leather jacket and suit are 58, could get away with a 56 but it would probably be tight in the arms and short in the sleeves. I will find out when I go to Moto Liberty!

Better option, IMO, DK.

Dainese Air Perforated Jacket Black size 58

Nice jacket BTW, only problem is that I can't afford more than 300 dollars for my third jacket, which is technically the fourth. My first was one of those big floppy leather ones:$290 bucks for that crap, got it with the 14 and gave it away the day after I tried the GP-R.
I saw this guy on 125 today, he had the high boots, the alpinestar pants, jackets, gloves and an Ogio back pack (got the same). All blacked out. The guy looked really cool. You could tell he could ride. I don't get the guy in t-shirt and no helmet. They probably not riding something powerful enough...I need to get into my "role" before I get on the 14 so every bit of protection help lol

Spend the money Drag, you really get what you pay for in a jacket. Think about your Spidi suit, you didn't cut any corners there and you got something you can wear proudly.

$350 is a good price for a dainese jacket! Heck I could even keep the training wheels. Would have to see it in the flesh though.

So you guys have no love for the mesh huh? I thought the taichi offered great protection. NO?

Suppose as long as you go down at a slow enough speed... say 55mph or less.

I'm not a big fan of mesh Drag, leather is the real deal IMHO.

yeah I agree with both of you. I was considering the mesh for going to work or to school. I can arrive in a sweaty t-shirt. Work and school is just about 10 min from the house and I don't even have to get on the Hway so my speed will be 50 max. However, I know that if I have to make a detour or pick something up for the wife, I'm not going to go home to change jackets! The Dainese looks like it could keep you cool but I'm not sure it would deliver on 90 degrees day! I'm going to call Moto Liberty and see if they have it. It worth checking out. I'm spending a lot on parts but also a lot on gear. Those jackets will last forever though.

Yea, buy the best you can afford and wear all of your gear all of the time cause you just never know. I think the mesh would work on the way in to work as long as speeds are pretty low. Like Dogo was saying, under 55.

I hate to say it but I feel almost naked now in mesh, just gotten used to leather.
