heathun... Which book out of that list had decent info? Exclude Code's books, I should have added.

Hub I would have to say the soft science of road racing if I had to choose just one.

If you are looking for some sort of how-to-be-Rossi-read-me-book, well, we know it probably won't happen. I bought a book to see if he mentioned some race. Sure enough... It all happened with one drop of rain and one drop of my first bike, it was that quick [was my] learning curve on my end. It was that hairpin turn down the street. He grew up in the wet and well, he didn't give me enough slipping if that piece of shit 1/4 fairing was about tossing me off me slithering in the rain.

What I pulled on him was lightweight. There was some motocross body bumper kind of guy that would take your line. He didn't see it coming did I scamper even harder up to the teacher to teach him all about smooth rain on his parade. No shit, I see a clown freeze frame and then a devil's face frozen for a sec or two.

I was chasing a ghost and that means to be in 1st place no matter WOT. If I wanted some Joey Dunlop, I was thinking that day in the mountain TT no shit. And to see me pass his ass like I did was just more slithering his ass all up like the bloke can't teach me shit is shit on him sort like everyone is the enemy and if you are on your game... It's so sweet is the revenge.

So if the crypt says '18-8-2 clowndevil' and you do a search then click video... No tuner, hired gun, someone pushing 'smooth riding'... Yeah, I got your smooth alright. LOL

I've just gotten into this book, but it is one of the best I've found:

Beautiful photography throughout. About 20 bucks at Amazon.

I think the author is the lead instructor at the Yamaha Champions School that I hope to attend this year. Maybe he'll autograph it for me. -bg

It is my humble opinion that as much as I goof around, there is no way you can read a book and now beat the Spies of the world. There is more a drive to win. And once the hammer drops, it does not matter if there are riders that are paid, or bikes with money backing... If you want it bad enough, no book will get you there but sheer will.

You make the lines. You have a perfect example someone getting sucked into that line and now they are all screwed up. You follow the leader, they might be too slow and in your way.

There is an instinct and the mindset to win. And there you go, I can't explain it. You have to see it unfold like the 18-8-2. How do you get there is what I wanna know? You think someone would have tried to lap the field in the rain just for some distance someone tries to unlap themselves... Hey, it is what it is.

I thought the slithering brit and I were going to have a go at it in the rain. Seems more I prop'd his tuner. Call it a yellow cheeze is pin is a reminder on the back of that widow strikes again watch out! It aims so well is the will to win that trophy.
