I asked my service manager about this service, and he's a long time manager at this (now closed permanently) dealer shop.

His advice was to leave it alone, not do it. I thought it odd advice at the time, but also considered that he knew what he was doing to run his shop and customers.

Tires were inflated pretty high - probably a pound over the 42 the manual suggests.

The PR4s are worn out - just at the wear bars. Never had any head shake previously and I'm at 11,400 miles.

Straight weight oils don't break down like multi weight oils, so they do last longer
in that sense.

But the will lose lubricity and even though there is no combustion process the
oil still gets dirty.

When you talk to a suspension guy, they will tell you annual changes, including the rear shock.

I've never had a rear shock serviced, ever. Hmmmm.

Little harder to do rear shock.

I have to send it out to be done.

You need to vacuum/pump the rear shock when changing the oil. Thought
about buying a pump a couple of times, but long way down my list.

Rears need oil changes and check nitro charge to make sure bladder hasn't leaked.

Should do dampers too.
