Kruz, I think you should sell it.
Have fun, enjoy life, and know your license and hide are intact.
There's absolutely no reason for us to try to talk you out of it if your confidence is really, truely, gone.
There's no condesation in my tone here. I'm being as frank and open as I know how.
Please believe I want what's best for you.

I just love riding the 14 so much even though it elevates my chance of getting into trouble. I have managed to keep things barely within my accepted levels of risk.
For me, the level of risk I accept for getting a ticket is moderate, while the level of risk I accept for crashing is small. I'm more willing to get a ticket than crash, but I would rather not either. If the roads and conditions are suitable for a dash I will go for it if I really want. I am also a stickler for protective gear and riding strategies.
Thankfully, riding within these boundaries is still very satisfying on this sweet demon monster of a machine. For me.
Everyone has their own accepted levels of risk, just think it through and be honest with yourself.
I think that anyone not prepared to crash should not ride, and those not prepared for a ticket should ride a barge. There are plenty of people out there riding obliviously of course, just don't be one of them.

Goes to show you, if you think there aren't people out there who are willing to hit you with their car, there are. Stay away from them.

"Mrwoo, can you be specific as to where you saw the LEO? I used to live in Rancho Cordova, now up by Redding, and still go into the Sierras alot. I am usually on Hwy 49, and 192. In 15 yrs I have only seen CHP twice. One was seen of accident, and the other was on patrol I assume. Great riding up there. Most of the time, you can have tons of fun, and not break the speed limit. Very tight mountain roads."
They were just outside of Georgetown on WWS. I ride alot 193 to 49 to wws to icehouse. Got rid of chicken strips on wws. Also ride Foresthill to mosquito ridge rd. Rode Mormon Emigrant this weekend. Holy shit. There were spots you could open zx14r all the way.
I accept all responsibility for my actions. But.......YOLO!

"Ride, have fun, but keep in mind around the next blind corner could be a broke down car, a deer, or even a cop"...yep...very good advice right there.Had those very similar deals happen a few times within the last year.I honestly DID change my riding behavior with certain road condition possibilities.(crests, blind curves, open straights where the deer and antelope play;)

I think I talked to Romans about that for Grn. I'm sure it could be done. Just lower rev limiter to 4000 rpm

...actually, I don't have a problem with the brain thing OR the penis thing.
I've sort of had the feeling that society has changed much too fast in the past few decades for 50,000 years of evolution ti neatly mesh with. Thanks, Hub. I'll give it a read.

If they were healthy, successful and therefore typical individuals, they would not have had to seek psychiatric aid and would not have contributed to the psychiatrists' store of information. Again, I do not wish to belittle the value of this research. It has given us an immensely important insight into the way in which our behaviour patterns can break down. I simply feel that in attempting to discuss the fundamental biological nature of our species as a whole, it is unwise to place too great an emphasis on the earlier anthropological and psychiatric findings. (I should add that the situation in anthropology and psychiatry is changing rapidly. Many modern research workers in these fields are recognising the limitations of the earlier investigations and are turning more and more to studies of typical, healthy individuals. As one investigator expressed it recently: `We have put the cart before the horse. We have tackled the abnormals and we are only now beginning, a little late in the day, to concentrate on the normals.)......I NEED TO GET A CUP OF COFFEE OR A

I have not read the book yet but in the intro, that seems to be what the guy is saying. Anthropologists habit of studying "native" people was studying the people who failed to evolve. IDK what has happened in Psychology since The Naked Ape. It was published in 1967. I think they recognized the theoretical nature of Jung and definitely Freud by then. ..I mean, they knew the work of early psychologists was based heavily on theory.
