Red dot has priority over yellow dot. So if a tire has both, put the red dot at the valve stem. If no red, put yellow. I guess if there's no dot of any kind it either means the manufacture does not mark their tires in this way or the tire has basically perfect balance (yellow) and shape (red).

I've got about 100 miles on the new PR4's now, and so far I love them! Nothing faster than 152 thus far but stable and planted all the way there.

The balance job I did while relatively minor seems to be sufficient. The bike rolls easily at all speeds, with no vibration or oscillations felt when moving. Tire wear will show how good the balance really is over the long haul.

My bike will cruise at 65mph (actual/GPS) at 3,500rpms with the new 40t rear sprocket. Additionally, the speedo on the bike is off by 3mph at speeds over 40mph. For example, with my GPS running right next to the speedo I would hold an actual speed of 60mph on GPS and the indicated speed on the ZX14R's speedometer shows 63mph. Performing this same test at 25mph actual on the GPS shows an indicated 26-ish on the bike...much closer at lower speeds. It could have been this way all along, but I didn't perform this test just prior to the new tires (should have) but it's alright. At least it's a buffer on the safe side if you ride based on your speedo.

I lined up the dots as I stated (one tire had yellow, one had yellow & red) and didn't have to balance them at all, or to say they were in ~perfect balance with the weights exactly where they were. Verified by a few hundred miles riding on them now, no vibrations at any speeds (including upper triples).
