That's one body style I would not mess with. Still my favorite.

1. Aftmrk trailer taillight, with one of those galvanized T-brackets they use to support 2x4 bracing building a house.
2. Rear frame end has a hole for the winker stems. Dill out so much so the stems go thru.
3. Glue (amazing goop or you're on your own) the front winkers under the mirrors and wire it up from there.
4. 1980's rubber boot, headlight ring, and headlight bulb off a harley sportster.
5. Front air cleaners. Why? The open ram will make too much noise... Unless you like the sound.
6. Round bar stock so you can mount the headlight somehow?
7. A handicap sticker so as to 'give you a head start,' it's much lighter picking it up off the side stand.
8. Glue ram holes shut where rubber grommets are used.
9. Better gas mileage, better accel, better cornering, just better all around.

I really love the look of that naked duc! Thing is sexy as hell. It would be kinda fun to do a big naked bike. That Ducati would be stared at so much the paint would fade!

I love my B-king. If Kawasaki made a naked bike with the 14r I'd be all over it.

Ditto. I think they need to take a key from the first gen fz1. or maybe even a 2nd gen. But I haven't ridden one of those. But a 1st gen Fz1, almost full tilt R1 motor, full R1 brakes, upright seating and bar, comfy seat, and good legroom. Give it good enough suspension, and keep the weight near what we are now or just <600# wet.

They could even do like the 12-14 Aprilia Tuono V4r. Keep the chassis and equipment. Tweak the steering and seat, and nothing else. Badass. Screw the z1000, its not enough. Plus I found it no more comfortable than my modded 14r. 1" drop pegs, and 1" bar spacers. Just as comfy.... but not enough. I am broken, and have knee damage. I need connie comfort, but am unwilling to give up the HP! and its too damned heavy. and doesn't fit in my storage. lol.

I'd be all over that mama Kawi. Hell, had I ridden my friends 01 Fz1 before I bought this 14r; I might have bought one of those. I may still buy one next year, if I find the right price.
