My perscription for ADHD, Sleeplessness and bouts of depressiveness is 20 bucks of 94 and a flight suit. There are way less side effects. However on rare occasion wind burn has resulted on unleathered skin!

"Maverick- have you been able to pinpoint the cause of your issue yet with your current trap times?"- Nasty

I think I have decided that it's a combination of the slipper mechanism (which will be replaced with the Brock's clutch mod slipper eliminator with shimmed clutch springs) and the 0w-20 oil that contains friction modifiers. I believe the latter of those two is the culprit and the seat of the pants dyno is just not sensitive enough to detect five or six mph difference within a given time. My local 1320' is closed yet again so I will reside to pulling my bike apart again and examining every inch of her.

"My favorite cheese is swiss!"- Wolfman

I'm glad you take that in stride my man. I wear a mohawk 24-7. :)

"I've seen fast street people go slow on the track/drag and I've seen fast drag/track people get ripped on the streets."- Wolman

I'm a creature who can do both equally as well. Remember I'm on a stock wheelbase bike so my launch characteristics are nearly identical on each surface. I actually knocked off a few guys on the street the other night who quoted you verbatim. :) Having said that I will offer my services as a mercenary to whichever side can rally up the chips. Peace.. Maverick out..

P.S.- Lets get a map up of all our members. I'm in Laurel,MS which is DEEP south.

Mav I like the cut of your jib!
I live in Ontario, Toronto to be exact. Might I interest you in the Canon Ball Run!!!
???

I would like to try the track, but I think this will require a great deal of practice before I can achieve mastery. As for the duality of you ride all I can say is AWESOME. Like you I have eaten the "Oh I am so fast on the track" types. It is truly rare when one encounters a rider than can do both! Props!

Shit, Wolf. Double medicate. The acute attention to detail, coupled with intense concentration and ability to scan lane change routes and cop spot in the dark costs $6 a month. HAHAHA. I hear 89 octane is better, makes more HP and by far cheaper.

It however does not do shit for a HUB translation.

I am going to play devil's advocate and say that it is possible some members are staying away from some of the discussions due to the constant inclusion of women graphic images.

I am not a prude by any means, but we have to acknowledge that women also ride and race ZX14's, and some of them read this forum. I don't have children, but I am sure some of you read these threads when some of your daughters are in the room.

Just one observation here, not aimed at anyone in particular.

I agree...and I'm upset.I have to go to work in an hour...and go till 9ish tonight...the weather is AWESOME right now....I can't go ride.What should I do?

On the other topic however...this forum has over the years had some knock out drag down times between members. Some very ugly stuff...and I was a big part of that. Not meaning to be..but I got caught up in it.The tide around here flows back and forth.People share stuff...not always acceptable to everyone. You share your truth...your stuff...and ya let the BS roll off.We all have this killer bike...and we all are an elite group of pilots.Sa'll good...lots of testosterone at times...yup...sa'll cool.Being able to right wrongs said is important...I think this forum is doing quite well at policing itself...props to all here....cool bunch of riders and enthusiasts. ps...have fun riding today ya pricksLOL!!!!

Hi Kofla,
Good to know. I've gotten into a few discussions with members about posting pics. I have since ensured I only post "clothed" beautiful women! My officer is an example.
If anyone else feels that way, ie photo content, I hope they post it!
It's so hard not to drift from beautiful bikes to beautiful women, but this may be another rub and part of the sorting process!

Green thanks for the honesty and patching it up is also a show of maturity and manhood. The biggest man is usually the one that stands accountable, apologizes and moves on with the lesson learned! That my friend is on you! And you are mighty tall (sorry tank stole your line).

I also think it's way cool if all this offence taking and quiet is in my head and I am dead wrong!

And Nasty, yah, I've found Christ and gave up Red Heads!

Anytime you have a crew of like minded people your going to have some differences.
Maturity is the key, slings and arrows don't do anything but drive people off.
I don't hang out here much, just cruise through now and again when I'm doing research.
It's another fount of knowledge for me when I got the jones to spend monies on my bike.

I am a regular poster on another site and we have a new member that's apparently well funded and came on the site slinging brags about this and that and all these bikes he owned. No pictures, just crowing.
I got tired of it and called him out. No pics,it's all BS,yadayada.
I was never rude in my opinion but pretty much backed him into a corner.
"I'll show the pics and you'll eat crow on the site" was his reply.

Sure enough dood has becoup bikes(5 14r's among others) but lives in a hairy area and security was his concern.
-shrugs-

I asked for biscuit and gravy with my Crow.

Lesson here is let's keep posting and it don't make a damn about who's whatsit has the most whatever.
Being civil and allowing an open mind to others ideas and methodologies is a sign of the aforementioned maturity.
It's the same thing as the exhaust/tire/fuel wars, don't mean nothing in the end run.
Buy what your heart and your pocketbook tells/allows and keep riding these awesome bikes.

Yeah well,,,,
I quit another site where true HP people hung out because of the inflammation and just pure stupid shit.

Hasn't happened here yet but the winds are a blowin'.

Nobody has the true answer when it comes to arriving at a place someone has a way of doing a thing.
Doesn't matter what it is your looking for.

All you can do is seek your own council.
