I'm still sporting my RF1000. No good reason to change. But I sure do want a RF1100. It's always something.

Arai RX-7 Corsair, prior helmet was an Arai Signet and all others dating back to 1984 were Shoei. Going to be in the market for a new helmet next year........We'll see if I find something I like better than the Arai's. I've been waiting for them to do an all carbon fiber version.

How does the arai compare to the shoei helmets that you have owned?

I've got a shoei.. don't remember which one lol. But I like it.
Not much airflow though, I can't stand to wear it when its 100+

How does the arai compare to the shoei helmets that you have owned?
At the time I bought the Arai Signet I found it to be much lighter than the Shoei I was wearing. That was the initial reason for getting one. Once I had one I found the venting system to be superior along with the way it fit. I cannot speak for the current Shoei models as I have not really tried them since I changed to Arai. The venting in the RX-7 Corsair is really great.......as long as you’re moving.

Arai's are very hard to beat.I had the Signet myself for several years.Then upped the ante to the Arai Profile Force.THEN...found a killer deal on the last batch of full carbon Vemar helmets...They no longer make this model.Best helmet I've ever had though.VERY LIGHT.Quiet.VERY aerodynamic.It definitely as put my Profile on the shelf.
