Hey 06blackpearl,
You can definately get away without getting a pcv for your ride.
Either Romans, or CBlast, or any of the big wigs (Brocks, Guhl, etc) can hook you up.
Insert Shameless plug here.....
I'm running a Roman's flash in my bike - works absolutely harmoniously with my hindle exhaust.
Couldn't be happier - Don't need a PCV with it either...

Thanks Rod
I'm keen to see how your bike does on the dyno with your ct system.
I got this one for a grand and handled the install myself, so not too bad
Sold my akra header and 2 bros. slips for 700 - so only out of pocket 300.
If cost wasn't a consideration, I would be rocking your setup.

Thinking of going the route of BOOST now. That being said, I'll be selling this pipe. Looking for $750.00 for it.
PM me if interested. I'll be probably removing it from the bike in 3 weeks or so. Only on there for maybe 400 kms.... Flawless.
I'll be throwing it in the for sale section once it's been removed from the bike.

I'd be lyin if I said he didn't give good supporting arguments in favour... lol
Having him so close to me would be invaluable also for tuning and anything else.
Got two weeks to decide on it. Just trying to sort out the finances and then I'm off to the races.

Boost! awesome! I may go that route when its paid off.
Next week I should get some numbers from the ct duals. The tuner at the shop where my bike is just got back from an updated dynojet class. I guess that makes them a dynojet pro tuning center. As soon as I know, Ill make a post.

UUUGGGHHHHH, being torn in two directions....
Yikes, Torn ??? If you are Not Absolutely 100% sure you want Boost "Don't Do It" Really, Don't Do it !!!!!!!!!
That kind of bolt on power adder is all consuming. Very hard to come back from. Crack For Gear Heads. Save yourself while you still can,,, or try it just once lol
Sounds like Romans strikes again!!!
Nope that's a decision One Must Make All On Your Own. We are not talking 10 hp gains anymore.
Issue is, Beast has seen how fast a Boosted bike can run down a Brocked out ZX-14 at wide open throttle. For me I was crushed by a zx12 while in full tuk at wide open throttle. Went by me like I missed a gear. Seed gets planted in your head and grows over time. Then, you try it. All bad after that.
Most think Boost is all about top end hp #'s. Nothing could be further from the truth. The real story with boost is when and where the power becomes available. Answer is any time you want it. Over 110 ftlbs at 4500 rpm and 150lbs by 7500. Nothing quite like it.
That kind of juice you have to want all on your own. It's Wicked, no contest. Best cost dollar per horse power gain you will ever see. Repeat, wicked no contest. Fun Factor 10 plus.
When I get off a boosted bike I am happy for at least 4 hrs, then sleep, wake up rush to the garage wanting to do it again. Fun with no equal. But, Not For every One.
No matter what Beasts decides I will be in his corner, pass him if you can...... Keep the game alive.

If I had two bikes, I'd boost one. This way I'd have the opportunity to hooligan when appropriate and daily ride where appropriate. You would be better to save the turbo, until you have a daily rider. My 0.02 cents!
But that said it is your wallet and your decision. If you do it - cool. If you don't cool. You have to be sure!

2nd, and I know he is not 100%. I can hear it in his voice.
I must have said Don't Do It fifteen times last time we spoke. Very hard from my position as my passion for the Street kit Turbo System shines through my every word "Don't"
I have done my very best to explain exactly what it's like from Neutral Position, I can say nothing more. Like my Dad always said "In Life Son You Have To Make Your Mistakes it's how we learn" Some of my best and worst times came before and after that lovely one liner lol Anyway we will know soon.

I hear and understand all points of view regarding this potential turbo. I appreciate all of your input on the subject, but to any who know me,.... know me as a speed jukie. Always have been, always will be. Car, Sled, Bike, anything with a motor really. So the turbo, is really an eventuality for me. Only question was when I was willing to drop the scratch on it. Time will tell what my final decision is.... guess we'll just have to see........

Beast go for the turbo now,you will eventually anyways, the only thing better(IMO)would be supercharger. With the turbo she could still be friendly for those rare moments of restraint that may occur

I looked, the extra weight of belts brackets all located high up off to one side Not For Me. Basically a belt driven turbo(procharger) Not Roots. Still very cool. Daryl bucket list ? 5 hour drive. If you know Lyle he is dropping off next week for install. If you both Buy, two may be cheaper.

Bleh that procharger looks like a monstrosity. I know it isn't about looks anymore when your bolting on that kind of power potential, but a turbo looks so much sexier. I have a limited turbo background involving a 4g63 with a little 16g Mitsu turbo. I beat the bearings out of the rods within a week due to detonation (too much boost - outran injectors/fuel pump) and learned a very hard lesson. Turbos are UNFORGIVING! That expensive lesson is all that prevents me from becoming a raving boost lunatic.... Now having said that, I would like to ask anyone that is considering a power adder one important question.. What are your goals? What do you want the bike to do that it cannot do in its current form?
A. Racing purposes?
B. Just cuz?
C. I think it'd be cool?
D. All the girlies will be like whoa?
I have been riding for 5 years and it has always been a rule of mine to master what you have before you upgrade it. That being said... Where does everyone stand? The drag strip would be the only place to accurately measure one's control over the acceleration of the monster we ride. A turbo will drastically alter the rate at which things happen on that tarmac. Can you handle what you have now? Now add those riding errors to an equation with twice the power. Don't take this spill the wrong way. I'm just trying to keep some of you guys from getting hurt. Stay safe guys.

The problem is that boost is not in line with my goals for this bike. My first goal was to break into the 8s on a stock motor stock wheelbase bike. I have accomplished that goal and now that goal has shifted to running consistent 8s during the heat of the summer. This goal will require some ingenuity from myself and some help from our industries gurus but I know it is possible. I am in a unique position since the world has already focused on the buzz that Kawasaki has created around this machine. I have a chance to step into the spotlight carrying the Kawasaki flag if I play my cards right. I'm very close to throwing down the gauntlet and challenging the world. One more season ought to do it.
