80 in a 40, ran red light, t-boned car, is kill, who could have expected that?
Ride fast my homies, but be smart, sober and skilled, and wear your kit so if you do get bit you'll be back riding all the sooner.
Don't speed near intersections. Speed somewhere else.

Thats why a good club can be a good thing, it keeps riders in a state of awareness for there colors and how they are precieved by the public to ride in a manner appropriate for the road. Just be mature, smart, and sensible on these machines, common sense is....well, common sense!

Most of these reports on San Antonio were the fault of the motorcyclist. When I lived there in the late 1980's it was a bad city for motorcycles, even if you weren't an idiot. Most of the accidents then were due to cage drivers running you off the road - many times intentionally. I lived on the west side near I90 & rt 1604 when I worked at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland AFB. That 8 mile commute gave me some of the scariest moments of my life. I actually got shot at by guys in a pickup truck, and I was cut-off many times. I learned to be a much more agressive rider there just to survive.
After 3 seconds of full throttle, everything else on the road becomes 'Oncoming Traffic'...

I went to tech school there after getting out of the military in 92..........didn't like that place......
