...I bet it was the helmet holder lock. I've tried that one a time or two myself doesn't get you very far for lifting the seat.

I'm a bonehead...NOW I remember that "other" lock.I've never used it....so....

It's stupid, because the actual lock for the seat is all hidden. And the Helmet holder lock is all visible!!

By the way, my bike started up FINE after i charged the battery from 11.5 volt to 12.6 volt.
