@Phatkaw: I'm glad you're sober now and if lifting and steroid keep more dangerous drugs at bay, who am I to judge?
From what I understand going through a curve on a dirt bike is different from doing it on a sport bike. Let alone the 14. No TC could I saved you so don't feel bad. Getting closer to the mirrors and leaning the bike more is counter intuitive and when you add target fixating...
Usually a good rider can do double the suggested speed in a corner but because I'm a novice I only do that on sweepers. For the tighter stuff 15 maybe 20 mph more is usually a 8/10 pace for me.
Before getting her fixed, I would ride to a parking lot and see what are the limits cornering wise. You've got the OEM pegs so you should be kosher. A lot of people are against hanging off in the street but because he allows you to lean the bike less, it is a great tool especially on unfamiliar terrain!

I'm glad you didn't pay that ticket. I don't see how a cop can just show up to the party late and decide you crashed because you were not riding safely. That's just stupid.

@Roman: I wish your bro a speedy recovery!

Audioboys: Prednisone is a corticosteroid, it doesn't build muscle, at all. I'm talking about the anabolic steroids, related to testosterone. Very different. & He hit you with a shotgun?!

You don't remember anything at all? Damn dude..

carabuser: I think it's illegal for insurance reasons, like jaywalking. But it is bullshit. The cop literally said, "Well you hurt yourself, right?" Like the government is justified in that! He also said dumb shit like, "Well I guess you learned somethin' , didn't ya?" and "I know your kind. People that fight tickets are the scum of the earth."

Really intelligent guy, the highway patrolman...not...

Glad to hear you will be alright Phatkaw. I hate to hear of anyone going down (especially a Kawi owner). I think it is beyond anal for any cop to give a ticket for a single vehicle accident when there is no other party hurt or property damaged. If I was a cop I would take one look and say "you have suffered enough..... be careful man" (I would never ticket motorcycles period - except any and all Hardly Dangerous. I would ticket them even if they were on a trailer.)

Washed out in a corner is the guess, no recall of what really happened, same as all you guys. Truck took his bike head on in the passenger side, said there was no rider ? Amazing how the mind Erases all bad. His go pro was off. We checked. Video was his only chance to recall. Mind is blank. Very similar to what happen to u guys.

Glad to hear you and your motorcycle are okay, that could have ended a LOT worse!

"ANY road that has a curve marked "15mph"......you best be doin 15 mph.....at least around here;)"

That's sorta the reverse problem we have here... if the sign says "recommended 40km/hr) you can EASILY do 80, 120 and you need to try, 160 if you've got professional skills and tires. But there's every once in a while, where if it says max 30km/hr you bloody well better slow down

Yup, please accept my "Heal Up Quick" sentiment. I mean it...

Having said that... Les-see, 1st Sport Bike, it's a Super, Super-Sport. No prior training stated for Street. 110 on a road, road Unknown-to-Rider, road with twists. settings at TC-1 (expert), and probably full power modes. Approx. one month into street riding after purchase. Relatively young pilot (but, that dont really matter here, at this forum, just thrown in as a data point).

What am I missing here? Oh yeah, you are sooooooooo lucky you're not dead.

Wanna be a parent, grand-parent someday? Knock it off, stop this behavior!

Now, if you read past that last and you can still see past the red I've put in your eye... Please accept my "Time to Get Smarter" sentiment. I mean that, too. Time to go back to school, some MSF class. Pick one, any one, but get started getting some training refreshers.

Sorry to hear about he crash but glad you are ok and now stop taking those roids and asking someone to give you a good price for a mirror.

Eat all the protien you want. You'll just piss it out if you don't use it. Makes for some expensive piss but if that is your thing, go for it. If you can still gain after 2 years maybe it will be worth it to continue. I hit my max size in 12 months and not much gain after that. 240 g protien/day. If you give it up, you can get back a lot quicker once you were already there. DOn't forget about all the rest that life has to offer though. Those roids will fuck you up eventually. You know that.

I'm so glad they didn't have bikes like these when I was young.Bad enough I had a 900 Kaw.I just joined the gym but I haven't been there yet.Back to the hospital in the morning for a test on my ensouhgas, sorry bad spelling.Went back last week cause I thought I had another heart attack.Did a CT test and found out my chest pain was from an enlarged
esoughas.Been hurting too bad to workout or ride. Can't take aspirins or anti-inflammitarys.

Well get better and be carefull on that monster.I can't wait to get back in the gym.I bought a gym bag running shoes and other stuff.I need to lose 20-40 lbs.I like to buy those sport drinks, high energy and maybe some creatine.

Throat probs?...maybe some of that Prilosec?Something like that?Maybe?

"Hey Grn when you getting that bad boy ?"...I would guess around the end of this month...or into December somewhere.Probably happen about the same time they got here in 2011(the 2012's).No prob.Might get er in time for a few ring setting runs...probably be about it.Snow's been spitting....this time of year...you can get some very decent days in a row...colder than ...well...cold.But rideable if yer so inclined.Got a nice ring seal hill I use....get up to speed..a good clip...then chop the throttle and decel all the way down through the rpm range...works great.Once or twice on that baby...she's ready for the 'easy stuff" then;)Five minutes from my house. How convienient!

Hmmmm, I know this isn't a health website but:

Eating a surplus of protein can lead to more issues than expensive piss. It can lead to excessive stress on the body's processing systems and resultant medical issues of an unpleasant nature.

Secondly, enlarged esophagus and a history of reflux can be indicative of pre-cancerous condition. Caffein and creatine would not be on a diet to relieve that condition.

You can check out the details on either statement above on your very own pc. I won't presume to proselytize here.

Best wishes on the outcome of your tests, audioboyz! Nip that problem in the bud if you can.

Spyglass: thanks brotha

Shogun1: It gets better everyday man. Thanks.

Romans: Yeah repression is REALLY weird. I maybe have 1/4 second of recall from the whole thing until I got back up.

Black1: Everything will be fine brah, just a matter of time.

Nightmare: Where do you live man? Sometimes our roads just have sqiqqly's on a sign for a warning, like it's helpful lol!

Bean07: I guess it happens, what are you gunna do? lol

Mebgardener: I mean, I used to race 125GP. Does that count? lol I just wasn't paying attention, you know? Idk why. But seriously I appreciate the concern. I wish self destructive behavior wasn't inclusive to my person, but it is. It always will be, too. I'm the dumbest smart person I know. But what can you do?

Grn14: Whaa?! It's a boy toy my friend, what are you talking about? lol jk

Carabuser: It feels like they are...

Rook: What's wrong with asking if anyone has a mirror? I don't understand.

That's why you take steroids, because the body cannot process all of the protein you intake. So you don't piss it out lol I will take them for the rest of my life, that's the way it's going to be. I don't drink any alcohol or smoke pot or take rec. drugs. I will be fine. We all ride sportbikes, that's a little worse for your health.

Audioboys: Get well man, that's real shitty :/

PaulAB: Eating that amount of protein would be extremely harmful to you, should you not consume the correct amount of water. Everyone eats and drinks out of plastics, PCB's are worse I would assume. What about our water? The US put's Sodium Fluoride in it, a toxic aluminum waste product with no real benefits to consumption.

I will gladly defend the bodybuilding lifestyle for anyone interested in challenge. I feel very strongly about it.
