That lean given back by body position is supposed to be taken up by speed no??? Justifying a chicken strip as smart riding, is actually slow corner speed. Never did I say the 14R was made for tight tight technical stuff. The majority of that Neah bay ride was corners marked 15-25 mph. 15-25. :))) Ahhhh, but when things opened up and I could let her eat in her element, i didn't hesitate nor back off at max velocity. When things opened up before that t section I hit flat out several times. If that dude OR ANY DUDE DIDN'T SHOW UP WITH POWER AND BALLS I WOULD LEAVE EM IN A 186mph limited wake. I took a piss and drank some water at that t section.

No way is a 14R gonna outrun a 10R in tight stuff...too much mass.Just as simple as that.Nothing to feel bad about at all....keeping up with one and a good rider...that's admirable...very.And balsy...tell ya that.;)

I want to clarify! I AM ALL ADRENALINE DUMPY. I am probably readin all wrong. But again. Around a track there are many many way faster riders than me. I HAVE BEEN THERE DONE THAT GOT THE T SHIRT. I wasnt pushing 100% in that tight stuff, I have two kids to come home too. I was comfortable slidin the rear a little and gettin a nice off corner wheelie here and there. But I pushed about 80-88 percent. For me, my rush has always come from the ROAD THING. I am old. I am old school. I remember ROAD RACING AT ITS FINEST. I think THIS BIKE! The 2012-13 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is the finest point A TO B ROAD WEAPON EVER CRAFTED. A HYPERBIKE. I am trying in my riding and my focus to be good at what the bike is good at. CAUSE I JUST LOVE THAT! No offense to anyone that loves little bikes. But this IS A ZX 14forum under the 14R heading correct? Cause that's what I am talking about.

I just wanted to mention that the Angel GT is a long life tread, sport touring tire. The Dunlop Q3 is the highest performing street tire on the market for street/track duties. In other words you would get half (or less) mileage out of a Q3 than an Angel GT. But the stick is as close as you can get to a race tire for the street. Sport Rider magazine just said it raised the bar above all other tires for the street. It is the king right now as the Q2 was the king for the last 4 years. Two totally different tires. The Angel GT competitor is the Dunlop Roadsmart II high mileage sport touring tire. Good Luck on whatever you buy!

And I think the Michelin Pilot Power III sits between the two with a slight emphasis on grip at lean. Which was my point. An awesome choice if ya can't decide between those two.
