As far as size, I'm probably on the larger/longer end of the scale. 6-5 and 240. If you're a yank, think linbacker. If your English or Aussie, think 2nd row. ( greatest sport ever, BTW!) I fit very comfortably on the girl. Legs are just at the edge of cramped, but not enough to do anything about it.

And as for the price, I think you could do better. I bought mine in March of this year for 7800 out the door. But I negotiated a pair of Shoei helmets, and Icon leather jacket, gloves and boots into the deal. Total for the bike was about 6200. Bear in mind that its now time for their sales to be peaking, spring and all. I would expect prices to rise drastically. When I made my deal there was a foot of the white stuff on the ground! They were starving for a sale. If you are set to spend the cash, make a rasonable offer including the requisite gear. The worst they'll do is say no.

Good Luck!

I thought you would never ask. I think I might be the tallest, but not the biggest at 6'6" 260lbs. I was riding a 07 zx6r and of course all of my co workers and friends were making fun of me because I looked like I was riding a 250, so I decided to get the beast. Of course its like night and day powere wise, and it rides so good. I got the 2009 special edition. The seat hurts like hell, and my shoulders hurt on long trips, but other than that its not a bad fit. I'm pretty satisfied with the bike considering I use to ride a freakin 600.

Yup, your not the tallest. I'm not saying I am but I am 6'7" @ 295lbs. Before this machine I was riding a '05 Honda XR650L a nice dual sport bike but no power at all. Same here with the co-worker, they said I looked like an 'ape on a grape.' Now the ZX has all the power I need and want (for now). Ride on brothers!

No, you still look like you're on a 600. You and me both. I feel I dwarf this bike. That's about how you described it on my [end], 009. It's so close it's almost there... Just so you know, Carter.

From the other end of the spectrum.I'm 5'7"-5'8",shrinking with age,I have done 500 mile days on the 14 and just want off. After an hour break I'll take her out again for an hour or so.For me an after market seat would be a waste of money, but at 400 miles I'm thinking a gel pack would be nice.I fit the the bike OK except I cant flat foot it,I've no suspension issues, but I weigh in at 165.Apparently padded bicycle shorts work for long distance riding

I am 6'2" 270. All you need to do is swap the seat for a Concours(Connie) seat and you will be fine. The brackets under the seat need to be swapped and you are good to go. The stock seat was murder after about 1 hour of riding. The concours seat lets ne go all day .

Just added the Comfy Connie seat to my Big Gal and it FEELS GOOD!!!

In this pic you can clearly see the difference in cushioning between stock and connie.
