I agree, there is a guy here with a custom painted kawi green that looks fantastic.
I think the midnight blue and the black are getting top votes.
I may hold out for a 2010, in the titanium/black color scheme. I can really see a set of Brocks, CT Series, full titanium, dual exhaust with the CF tips mounted to that color combo.

The orange/black color was the must have for me. i originally wanted candy green or the 08 dark blue until i saw the 09 SE colors.

Only mod so far is a fender eliminator kit, trying to decide on brand of exhaust for my next upgrade. still waiting for the snow to melt so i can ride!

I was 50/50 between the Plasma Blue and the BLACK. I asked my daughter to help me choose and she said "BLACK is Timeless"! She was right!

Well, I pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago. Flew to Mesa, Az (from Oakland) and purchased a 09 SE, loaded it up in a box truck and hauled it home. (832 miles) 19 hours door to door total. I'm very happy with it and plan a long weekend putting some goodies on the bike.
