It is one thing to debate issues and argue points of view, and quite another to attack someone personally. In my experience when the latter happens, it is because someone is immature and lacking in civilized debate skills.

In other words, people that personalize debates or discussions simply because they disagree show themselves to be stupid and unable to logically respond. Testosterone fails to impress in the absence of maturity.

I say let them, it is amusing. But the forum would have a better signal-to-noise ratio with more logic and less bullshit.

Good post, Privvy. Agree/Disagree. Debate a point, you have to do some heavy convincing. Arguing, well, let me think here. If we argue there is moving air at BDC, I think there is no argument. If you show the debater it's concept in a practical event, how could the argument continue? If I say the coin is going to stop once I drop it at the bottom of the glass, the argument has to continue thru the glass to continue the debate the coin did not stop. Now, the argument is do we shoot him now or ass if something might change? If nothing has changed on the penny in the glass as if we are going to get change from it...

I know who said it, holding back my ??? I was so far ahead of the OP's post because I thought he had an interesting scenario. I can see how he would be ignored, but I was off on his abstract. As far as I'm concerned, take that one variable and head off with it... And really, no pun intended because this will grow roots you head in any direction with it... Again, no pun intended.

Interesting. I think he was blindsided than your comment. He's not stupid by any means. He is the opposite of ROOK. The way Rook would keep asking dynamic questions you already knew and had no time for. I whaled into his noviceness and now he's How-Toe'inn the HOW-To sections.
