Blue rear sprocket looks awesome as does steering stabilizer and rearsets. I'm not loving the blue brake hose though, stainless might look better there...JMHO.

Don't make this like other websites, waaaaaaaaa, we have to close this down. This place is anti-forum. We are grown up. You are correct. Without ourselves being piped in... I am still laughing my ass off about nothing. 'Don't tell me what I know, I know the law.' You know that quote?
Now, I can't ask blue about tires. Can't tell what worked, what didn't? I stick to my same old. Grn is going to rip thru tires. Grn is GAS'd no more? Where oh wear out is me early morning buddy? I'm old. You'll get old, know what Grn and I are going thru. We were mutt and jeff of the night.
You cork soakers popped your cork. This is open bar, the place does not close down. There is a spilled drink and now, who's buying? I forgot my wallet...
No: he didn't.
Yes: he did. Look at that budge.
No: that's his nut sack. Someone was trying to dip it in ranch sauce.
Yes: I knew I should have threw Dogo's riding buddy in the kitchen and let him have at it!

Ok, Ok, how about Heli-Risers and tank bras...lool!
the steering stabilizer for looks or to remove that annoying little head nod on decceleration
Good job overall but don't mess it up with any flame stickers!
the paint flaking off is distracting.

your ass... he will love that.lol
May be a good thing Mark43 decided to check out, if Drag had been here he wouild have beat on him like a drum...lool!
loool, Nah Kruz. This guy is as scary as Fiasco, my King Charles/chiwawa mutt. Probably got neutered too. He definitely needs a pair and a bigger brain. I was going to keep him on a short leash but he's harmless better give him some rope and let him shout himself in the foot, which he apparently has a habit of doing. Bon voyage Mark!

I think we are having a good time. You seem to be laughing it up with your 99% kind of attractions. I'd date them, but they'd cost a front tire, I take her out to eat at a drive-thru.Bring it.
I knew I should have threw Dogo's riding buddy in the kitchen and let him have at it!
Yep... shoulda... The boy can't ride for shit ... but he sure can cook!

I agree with Kruz that it's time to shut down this thread; I could see that coming and so did some of you who were involved as testified to by your attempts to sidetrack the emotionalism and personalization that was building up. Too bad it had to end that way, but one of the problems with text is that there no way to communicate nuance without facial recognition or body language. Smilies just don't replace face to face clues in discourse.
I thought the topic was good and well presented and that we had pretty much concluded the differences of purpose and plus/minuses of liter bikes vs hyper bikes. I would also like to see the discussion on the track bike build by Drag continue on another thread. The relative merits of the candidate bikes and the mods to apply to them is interesting. I would guess that a lot of 14 riders have a closet interest in either liter bikes or drag bike endeavors, especially if they can't have a stable of toys; I know that I fit that description.
I agree with you Paul. There has been a lot of good discussions here but this thing turned rather bitter than sweet. I'am in the process of Getting suspensions upgrade and replacing some plastic on the 14. Hopefully that won't set me back too much and I'll start the track bike project soon. A nice thread starting with a debate about how I came to choose the platform and a "mod journal" with some track time reviews should be interesting enough.
I like Rook steering stabilizer! It's a clean set up. My SCOTT-OHLINS required drilling but the warranty was long gone when I bought the bike... THE S-C has two adjusters, one that create stiffer steering which I would use for a high speed run or at the drag strip, the other one is for sudden head shake like when you hit or ride on something. I'm convinced that it helped me land a frenetic wheelie last fall. Do you need it? Do you need a 14? lol It's all up to you.

I love that pic by the way. I have seen a video of Michael Dunlop grazing a wall. I mean how to those guys cope with retirement!!!! I'm surprised they don't become drug addicts. You know what, it takes "balls of steel" to do that but you need bigger balls to understand that you're old news and need to switch to something else. I put those guys right under free climbers!

Drag, I think a lot of these guys never have a chance to retire or they get an early retirement if you catch my drift. TT is not for everyone, Rossi and most of the GP crowd won't touch it, way too dangerous. They've averaged two fatalities per year in the IOM TT since they started racing on the island almost a century ago. Mike Hailwood, Mick Doohan, Joey Dunlop and Agostini are a few of the older GP stars that did race the TT circuit. Those were real men. Speaking of real men, Irish roadracing is insane but then again so are the Irish, I should know, I'm half Irish...looool!

I don't wanna start another debate but that's why I give so many props to Agostini. The TT is different than MOTOGP and being able to do both is remarkable. I think the TT is more organic, meaning that the track was there before people started thinking about racing motorcycle on it. All those GP courses can be a little boring sometimes.
@Dogo lol Knew you were going to come back with something. The only thing I would be eager to shoot in that room are the FAMAS and the 50 cal! Talking about WMD's lol

I'll say, one old TT champion said he came around the bend at Kates Cottage on the IOM TT course at weigh over the ton and hit something "damp" in the road, that was it, game over, career finished. At least he survived.

I'm still mopping up Mark's remark about history. I'm going to twist your brain, drag. Here is Honda cleaning up. Couple of cc's less, but none the less. I'm grabbing Mark by the neck, smear his nose in it... Open the door and say, 'go on the paper! bad puppy! go on the paper!" Slide the door closed.
Then, open the door to lettem in. If he wants that is...
Grn? You hear Mark scratch at the door, lettem out neck time. Piss'inn all over the place with she sue keyshit I gotta wipe the shit off the walls... Dogo, I need a 'shit hit the fan' LOL

Hub! Forget about the speed or the skills those guys have; One of them put his/her elbow down several time... My First priority will be to maintain 100% of concentration for the entirety of a session and ride at maybe 70% of my limit. If I can do that, it'll be promising. Just watching the vid at those speed for 16 min is challenging. My mind is not quite used to it yet. Nothing compared to this though:

This movie is R rated lol
I don't know, those blokes entertain me. He must be nice to be a mag tester. On the question of whether you should buy new or used for track?

WOW - been away for a while and come back to a shit storm!!! What the hell? Mark43 - where in the hell did all that come from???!!!???? Anyhoo - SUP GUYS! Like I said, been away for a while - been really, really busy here in the A'stan, got little hot for a while after I got back from home in Dec - we were getting hit by mortar fire daily for a while there, really makes the internet and everything else pale in comparison when your listening to a mortar round whistling in and wondering where it's going to hit... Fun times... Now that it's freezing cold, snowy and the Tali Tubbies have retreated back into Pakistan for the time being, we can raise our heads back up and resume a "normal" life... If you can call voluntarily putting yourself in this environment, normal... Hope you all had wonderful, safe holidays and enjoyed yourselves!!!

Hey Big Willie, glad to have you back safe and sound! This thread is set to break every record for most posts ....maybe I'm wrong on that, that old Jeffo thread went totally viral.
Nothings changed except Drag is going liter and we're trying to find him a good fit that won't break the budget. Down now to a CBR or ZX10R.
While you were gone, Green challenged everyone on the planet to a race and Mark43 went potty mouth. Other thatn that, a typical thread...loool!

Wow, sounds like somebody pissed in the cornflakes. Picking up on a bit of tension ?????????? Must be a missssss print ?
Naa Romes, it's starting to settle back down again, Green said his final goodbyes and left the forum...for about 20 minutes....lool!
This thread apparently struck a nerve with some, polarized opinions. That's OK, I'd rather go this route than talk about stickers or surface treatments on muffler heat shrouds...lool!
How's that little ZX-6R of yours doing? I did get a chance to ride an '11 two weekends ago with the full Akra and PC5 on there like yours. I was expecting a really weak bottom end but it pulled surprisingly well down low and seemed to have more on top than mine.
