"14R baby....friggin rocketship!!!!!"...my opinion
Every post, every thread... Relax with the cabin fever already. Grn, you are upsetting a few members with this; my bike is better than the rest and now bring your pinks. That fine on the joke scale, but in the reality of it... I would not come up against Rootan the old man... Would you at your age and he at his age? You waited a few months for a warmed over bike. This guy brought more passion that this whole place, your cold not fill his scared face = GAS'd! You are not ready! Looking in your garage and adding a sticker on your bike... You are not ready and that is the reality... Can you live with it?

I'd put ibad up against you. Slow would come next. Then, hobby man with the hand... Last, COOT. YOu two are about even you want it, got what? One is young and hungry, the other is old, tired, worn out, can't make a decision to keep a post or Ivan it out of here. Indecisive into a corner? Change your mind 40 seconds after the fact, over the bars or say the ship is sinking... GET IT, edit?!

Dogo said..."Race for pinks?"....this is what started the deal...right here...so Kruz tellin everyone "Grn challenged everyone to a race" is JUST NOT CORRECT..straight out..lies actually...and nobody here said a thing.Lied about what I said...what I meant, what I thought about my bike and your bikes.Lies.This and jealousy.Too bad....I've got mine. And I LOVE IT!!!
If you edit out what you said, that was your editing of the real beginning. Even Dogo has to ping the refresh just to keep up with you. You are fast alright... With a mouse and a keyboard, no? It gets worse, I want you to use my words against me. I don't need to edit mine... No one listens anyway LOL!

And Hubster..my comments about my 'lookin at my bike...ugly green'...that was all tongue in cheek.I don't feel that way....not in a million years. This forum went south a while ago....nothin but egos postin and dart throwin commentin now.Have fun.I know I will.
Every time you post, you bring you, not what the OP wants to hear. For one, you should not be in here. This says, "why should I buy an R" where you already bought yours. That sends your ego right back to your own copied or exited thread title. Copy for copy...

Enjoy your $$$$$$Modded 14's guys...they'll NEVER touch the 14R...stock BTW.
I found the keys. I'm not going to use the clutch either... Save that part and now remove some parts... Say, sandbags, how about I remove the cap off the back of the pipe, I modded my pipe no $$. Hey, you forgot... I'm Mr. Stocker, I pack my stock parts is parts to upiss the hose piss IS... That right there say, "you are not thinking out of the box, you are thinking out of the shorts."

Woooow lol
I thought everybody would be out drinking themselves silly... and chasing tails... maybe Kruz? Where are you?
Too bad bigwhillie is not coming back before spring. I wanted to run some roll on tests etc... on my soon to be purchased GP PRO camera. I just dropped my baby at onroad offroad cycles. Roger is a really smart guy! We went over the 14 stock suspensions. I told him about the front end vague feeling and he basically said that since I was keeping the OEM Forks, he couldn't go that much bigger on the valves and that although noticeable the difference wouldn't be night and day. When he said that, I just made a mental note "wish list: Ohlins superbike front forks:$2000 ... OUCH. I'm also getting an Ohlins shock and looking forward to the professional dial in. The big argument here seem to be why invest so much $$ when you can get an upgraded bike? Well last I checked I was at 222lbs and I know kaw is not putting an ohlins shock on 14R's. Some people are purists and love their bike stock... or mess with it a la Hub. Stock bikes are far from being perfect and I don't have skills like Hub to mess with it that deep. So the only thing for me to come up even is to buy used or leftover and mod away.
One more thing that I was thinking about is that the bike was too young. To some extent nobody new what mods would work and where the weaknesses were going to be (sorry for those who think the 14R is perfect) so why rush into it? For the "redliners" the bike makes sense. You get more power than a 1st gen with CT-duals but if you're a joe average kinda guy just tell me you wanted a new bike and I'm totally cool with that. One thing I wasn't sure is the 14R ergos, I sat on it a second time and I can say that the bike feels more comfortable. I feel like they raised the handlebars but could be wrong. The pegs feel like they have been raised (not too much)as well but I could be wrong again. Hub you need to go somewhere where they have one and check it out!
In short for somebody who doesn't go to the drag strip and has a low miled modded 14, I don't think it's worth it. I'm not saying it isn't all of that but check Bigwheelie and Darryle. Bigwheelie wanna keep his old one bad, Darryle is glad she's staying in the family. The only way to enjoy a 14R when you have a nicely modded 14 is to mod it too. At $14k, nices mods make it a $19k bike and just like the Panigale I would be scare to take her outta the garage.
I would love if the 14 came with some of the items the liter bike have (ohlins, Sachs, Showa) and stole some items from the Beemer tourer (lights, electronic suspensions) and Akrapovic from the factory. Even if they had to jack the price up to Ducati Diavel territory.

I've been trying to stay out of this BS but here's the real problem here:

Hubris ( /?hju?br?s/), also hybris, means extreme haughtiness, pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.

You far too kind Kruz. I woulda used something worst but at the end of the day to each their own (opinions). My frustration is when people don't bring realistic facts or ideas. Doesn't matter now anyways I'm soooo "wooosa" I can tolerate anything. They only requirement should be that if it's not smart at least it should be entertaining.

We are on the same lines, drag. Here is the problem; King has the goods. Your 19k bike matched your Paingulls. Besides, it will be another pain, you will pull the wallet out and upgrade the Pain. We are stuck in a way. Or, if you have the money to throw 2grand at a bike, I'm more saving up for the faster one in the rotation of it. Your shock didn't come along, so you eat 2K. They changed chassis to accommodate the increased HP; something like that.

Yes, I agree the [suspension] upgrade is like night and day. I may take the plunge this time around with a fresh one. Everyone with the ape bike is doing nothing more than opening up their wallet as if the 14 had production suspension, so will you upgrade up on the Pain; you become spoiled or hate the harsh production shock. Either way, pick a bike, you are going to change it. My problem is, you guys want this, this, and that. I'm fat and want to up the... Look, if I find a 99% fat free is fat chance with my luck.

So, wouldn't Bigwill be on a slower lawn dare, he dates one of my 99%'tears and the HP drops? You know WOT I'm saying? We luggage up a cooler for her, or no nookie, we stop somewhere and just look at the sky... Well she can and look at that lawn too.

I'm just keeping me pants on, where SlowLow is keeping very quiet. And when family [IS] race and you shove that top shelf in their face... I need to read another brochure. Either that, or this dealer can take my boxed up parts, not wait like I am... I'm so stuck in the middle.

It's true, there is no win win. Just how you get it, lubed or not lubed? lol
Paid for is a winner to me though. Modding and making payments? OUCH
You're stuck in the middle? I think you'll move to the R Hub. It appears they fixed a lot of stuff you were after. I just have a feeling though, I hear the plastic is easier to work with but modding it as far as flies, idle etc is probably going to be a PITA. That being said mother teapot says you won't need to...
As far as performance I'm expecting BWheelie to pull away fairly easily. It'll be fun to see! The only way I'm getting it at that price is if I can "enjoy" the bike stock for at least 2 years before making an upgrade. I don't think I can stomach those pipes for that long though.
The black edition has a pearly accent a little like that white CBR. Which makes me think that the only color I haven't seen live is the Green. Seems to be scarce!

You know you don't have to spend the big bucks for Ohlins, DK... Race Tech will do the job just as well... Well almost as well.

Yep definitely heard good stuff about Racetech, Ktech as well but you know it's the same thing as with the other stuff, I don't wanna wonder how the best performs. I can see myself saying stuff like: would I have cornered faster if I had ohlins instead of racetech... lol... All in my head of course but I want the best for my baby. I'm really trying to talk myself out of those forks though but looks like they gna come on after the wheels. Unless you're in Vegas, when you spend good money you almost always get a good return. Also the price difference is not THAT bad! What I should have done is stick to the original plan and just get a spring for the shock but having easy access to the adjusters is worth it. I just hope I never sell this bike. lol
Plus have you seen women from Sweden? I believe in everything that comes outta that country!

"You far too kind Kruz"....Yes....maybe this would be more appropriate..."a sound heart is the life of the flesh:but ENVY the rotteness of the bones"....or maybe this little jewel..."Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord:though hand join in hand,he shall NOT be UNPUNISHED"....Good ole backslappin boys on the zx14ninjaforum...good buds...high fives with your knife throwing. When the shit hits the fan in YOUR lives....remember...."do unto others as you would have them do unto you"....Think it's just a bunch of hocus pocus BS?

Nice thing about all these truths...you don't have to believe in a just God to see em come true. They'll happen whether you believe or not. Why,even on a simple motorcycle forum...kinda like this one.Have a good laugh on that "brothers".

My Big Brother.

When the shit hits the fan in YOUR lives....remember...."do unto others as you would have them do unto you"....Think it's just a bunch of hocus pocus BS?Have a good laugh on that.

Nice thing about all these truths...you don't have to believe in a just God to see em come true. They'll happen whether you believe or not. Why,even on a simple motorcycle forum...kinda like this one.Have a good laugh on that "brothers".

Grn, I'm going to do unto you... shuthe fuck up already. Now I have to make up things to dis you. I don't think like you, assholes like you. Hypocrites! I hate being one, I hate being around them/YOU! Now, fuckcoughasbeen! Discuss bike or you rag on anyone here, I rag on your neglected mother. Now, you better stay the fuck out of my posts, I'll stay the fuck out of you bring shit here and fill this place up with crap. I'll enter every post you rag the crap uselesshit. The OP is the ego here. Help the ego or GAS'da fuck down... Go check on mom like you do your fucking forks! LOL

http://racetech.com/ProductSearch/2/Kawasaki/ZX-14/2006-11 Anyway, speaking out forks. I'm going to fuck you up like no tomorrow, Grn. I'm fucking warning you. I've got the Pee Air Curse you all up and down, clown! So, anyway, drag, here is where you drag out your wallet and guess WOT?

Look at that selection. You'll have to buy everyone to come up with a balanced combination. You can run a 9 with an 11? That's like bounce 10 we make one bounce? I don't think so. I think we have two independents and then we missmatch or match two bounces as one even bounce. I told you, it gets easy if you have the money. Complicated if you concentrate on setup.

This bike would have a sano setup. Then, you start in with the blades that bleed off. Pull one, add one. That's why I sag and stand. The stand makes the shocks dial in, I have zero bills, lots of pocket change and you can't hear a dime drop in the place.

Grn, you have no clue how one is written on my shit list has yet to be taken off. You and your mother's name are on that list. Final warning where you stand with me. Stab me... I haven't stopped plunging I stopped counting... This is just part of the list you are going to go thru, Grn/mom. You motherfucker YOU!

I'm not letting up, ANYONE! The LAP IS ON! You brought it... I'm going to bring it GRN! zHere comes the VOODOO!
