Here's the deal, the new bike is faster, Smokin14 run a 8.55 quarter on his new 14R while 8.77 was his best time on his old 14 with equal mods.

Proofs in the pudding here, the new bike is an improvement over the old. No doubt, better in other areas as well. That was never the issue, it was about choice. Some would choose to keep their old bikes for various reasons...like being payed off for starters.

Why subject these folks to the constant reminder that the new bike is better. If you need to feed your ego by belittling what someone else has, then you have a problem. This is not directed at any one person but if the shoe fits....
