Just when I think I've got my appetites under control, and that I've dismissed the possibility of a KTM showing up in my garage... (BTW, the interview with KTM CEO where he states that, after RC16 is in production, no more RC8's will be produced. ie: no street-able KTM's with new RC16 motor, and no more RC8's, DID NOT HELP to sell me one...)

...just when I'm all hunkered down again.

They (motorcycle.com) spy a KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, should appear this fall in their catalog.

Me Likes!

Just keep your 14R and get a KX450F and have the best of both worlds!

I had a brand new KX450F couple years ago to compliment my street bike. Sold it before I even got it dirty. Dirt riding is not my thing now like it was when I was 22

It's amazing how powerful the big 4 stroke motocross engines are these days.

I know exactly how both you guys feel about this 450, 4 smoke moto idea.

I'm injured 4 times in the last year from my yam 450 WR. It's a great idea you've got, but my execution of it is poor. I'm gonna heal my broke collarbone (out from surgery a bit over 3 weeks ago), and sell that thing. I loved it, but it's killing me softly :)

That 1290 GT idea tho, that's got hold of my brain for a bit. I'm sure I'll talk myself out of that, too... Suuuure I will....
