When I get get the money i would to see if I can get my 13' with stock fairing down close to 500 lbs, without spending a shit load of money$$$ full exhaust, lighter batt, rear fender, that might be 30 lbs but that still off by 30 + lbs.

500lb is a tough order without spending big $$$. I'd like to see your plan.
I'm planning on a full CF body in 2016 and still don't think I can hit 500....

Gen1 weight loss with parts switched to aftermarket or removed altogether.
Aftermarket full systen Exhaust 29 lbs
CZ Wheels 10 lbs
Aftermarket Rotors 1 lb
Aftermarket prockets and chain 1 lb
belly pan removal 1 lb
Aftermarket front front fender 1 lb
rear fender removal/DIY fender eliminator 1.5 lb
Shorai Battery 9.75 lbs
mirrors/mirror block and bar end 1.5 lbs
bar ends removal 1.25 lbs
Aftermarket kickstand .5 lb
toolbox and tool kit removal 2 lbs
heat shields, rubber blankets and foam removal 2.75 lb
kevlar brake and clutch lines 2 lb
Pair removal .5 lb
horn removal .5 lb
directoinal light brackets, front removal .5 lb
tail subframe removal , 1.5 lb
helmet lock removal .25 oz
sprocket cover dampers removal .75 lb
RH side subframe removal 1.75 lb
There's a hundred small items that weigh a couple ounces or less and switching to aluminum bolts. I haven't figured that out yet. I'm sure those add up to at least 3 lbs.
so we're at -73 lbs on the Gen1
Forgot some parts like battery tray and chainguard, aftermarket fuel tank cap..... another -3 lbs, easy.
take off coolant reservoir and extra coolant -2 lbs
headlights -2 lbs
I think you can get the Gen2 down 80 lbs if you can do it to the gen 1. Costs some money. Of course, most of us will want to add a few things too and that adds weight, unfortunately.
