Look, here is what I'm saying, zx, maybe I can help, I think the 1k's might seem closer in power to ya because if that gearing ya swapped to. It might have been fine at first, but you need the too end this bike was built for so that they can't pull ya past 140. I know those speeds are scary up there, especially when the adrenaline is pumpin and ur street racin someone with all the inherent risk therein. But if your bike ha stick front and 2 tooth smaller rear, with that swingarm, you could start to ease the clutch out at easy 7500 rpm, as it grabs, feather that shit in till the front starts to whoa Nellie a little and when she bangs grab next. The taller gearing, the pipe, the flash, I think your bike is wicked! I am envious of its power. I bet if you tried that, and then ya stay in it never letting your gear change rpm drop too far, you will smoke the 1k's much much easier. They run out of steam past 160, by that I mean they don't slam that shit like the 14R. That is my 2c. And I you like that shit that way man, keep it that way! It is awesome, and I bet wheelies fifth like I do third! But just be realistic about it. I will simmer the fuck down.

What I was saying was your having trouble against a 1300 naked bike, and on the dyno where mine was dyoned a bmw 1000rr pulled 197hp compared to my 201hp. Thats pretty friggin close. And with my weught alone I said I could get you on that 1000rr. Thats all. Nothing about skill it friggin physics. The bike weighs at least 125lbs less or around that, and hell I weigh 60-70 less than you. Hell forget skill thats just easy msth to me. If a jockey weighing 125lbs tried to race me on a 1000rr I would expect to be in the fight of my life at the very least.

I think if I could even talk with that jockey for ten seconds I would get him to question himself, his hands would sweat as be let out that clutch and the self doubt would make him realize what he feared most: being eaten by a real predator. Predators don't hesitate. They strike. They strike with reckless abandon. I like to ride like that. Makes me feel like I am fuckin living life to the fullest. I strike at the road though. never the opponent, never the rider. always beat the road and the riders beat themselves. Usually I don't ride in groups of even two. Usually I confine my antics to quiet unsuspecting backroads. I don't mind a little hooligan velocity at bike night though. I have been known to dabble in the odd wrist off.

And c when I raced though 1000rr I was stock then. With just brocks. And from real racing I raced my friends busa back then and now with the work done. And no bullshit its killing him worse than before. Before I had the 16hp advantage. Still do , but before we would hit it and it wouldd take a full gear and a half to really get into the power to start walking away. Now with the gearing I ALWAYS pull one and a half bikes or so RIGHT from the hit and then slowly start walking away. Granted we only really every race from about 60-70 till 170 the most. You know real street racing. We really never get the room or time to get or stay near 180mph+.

Gotcha gotcha. See, again, gotta be a perspective thing cause I need that upper end, I would get toasted without it. I go up to that speed on the roads available here when I get someone froggy mostly cause I know they can't or won't. I am serious when I say I am gonna full system this bitch. Fix the ecu. Nos it. Then go to 210 all day. I used to do it on the busa. That butch ended up with some serious RWHP. I'm talking Romans territory. But it handled like crap and was nothing without tc. I use that shit as a launch out of second and third gear corners. I don't post vids or even have a go pro because of the dang Leo's here. They relish hunting down hooligans. They do it for sport. I have an acquaintance that is somewhat local law enforcement and I see how it all goes down and I data log that shit and I put my helmet in and I prey on the roads. That's my mo. That's as dangerous as I get on a bike. I harm and threaten no one but myself. I am throttle junkie gettin my fix. I just have been mainlining that good shit so long I gotta really blast up the volume to hear anything.

I've gone against the ropes to defend racer too.
And 64 yah, you are right, getting all carnivorous is not a solution, but you got to remember, I serve two spirits, on one side my human form, on the other the canis lupis, it's hard to maintain the balance, between beast and man. No one was hurt (except the odd ego), no injuries were leveled and no one went to jail (which is a place I like, because it gives me permission to beat on fuck heads)!

ZxRacer, let me say it in public too, I pm'ed ya. If my communication was laking or offensive, I meant you in no way to feel personally attacked. For that I apologize. I have a thick hide and I often forget to tread lightly. I am also learning every day. My way doesn't always have to be THE WAY as my wise wife advised me on all this. She said she loves those CT Duals. As do I bud.

Man this was a crazy read, Im glad you two calmed down and got to brass tacks about BIKES, I see both points coming from street racing in KY, as to stretch and to clutch control, just boils down to riding style and what you personally like in your bike, thats to back both of you up from a position of racing both ways.
