Vic, my state is not on the list and thankfully when I do ride far none of those are either. I have fellen twice on the track both on an F4i, once on cold tires in Feb and once in 4th gear, lost the front getting in waaay too hot, stupid mistake. I'm sorry but 16K of any kind of riding and you're still a noob. That being said if you own a 14R and still alive that means you are a good responsible owner IMO and keep doing what you're doing.
The track is where you develop your skills to maneuver your bike on the street and stay out of trouble. It helps with EVERYTHING, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm well over 150,000K street miles without issue and the potential crashes I would have had I owe to the track. How many emergency stops can you possibly have had? One trackday would eclipse that number easily.
ABS question, are we only speaking of the front brake activating? When people say ABS saved you, was the rear brake involved?
