Details on the project X are amassing with only my pocket book as the restriction point. If someone on here had a flip up plate manufacturing business (hint hint) they would make a fortune! If the price is right and the system flawless. Whot. My thinking is once a rider hits 140km the plate comes up automatic. Once driver returns to regular speeds ie 139 down goes the plate (this is Cblast's brilliant idea not mine)! Anyone looking to build such a system Please add one order to Tdot!

There are several top end sports car that use speed dependent spoilers. Basically it would consist of a window switch that uses the speedo input instead of a tach input with a simple 12v actuator arm and pivot assembly. For the sake of simplicity it would be much easier to use a standard toggle on the dash for the flip actuation.
