No limits between you and everything all of these systems were designed to do working in concert like a ballet. Like a ballet being danced by a platoon of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, to the tune of an M240Gulf machine gun.

That's gotta be the most beautiful line I have ever read in my life!

C Blast that is a beautiful dyno map, neverseen anything like it that smooth, nels is good, but I do agree with ZX on the ram air effect that has to be taken into consideration, if Nels got that right your bike is truly out of this world bro!! Ride the shit out that muthafucka!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good question?
C we should compare notes...
Fat, you can compare our charts.
Picking my bike up from my tuner today, I had them do some tweaks, long story short I went 43 in the back with stock front and experienced the "studder" I am anxious to know what she feels like with the 42 stock rear back. Ordered 16 front and I am going to wait to go 16/43 till I stretch or 17 45...Anyway,

Your Question...
Wish C was here so we can go and ride our bikes and do a side by side. As I read about it and talk to C Blast, I think his current set up is going to be more aggressive. I also think he is going to blow my chart out into outter space once he goes full system. There are many paths to power, but from what I read, I think C has it sorted better and with less invested. Sheer brilliance is what I see. C is seeing 200 hp with current set up, that's with a stock header and no PC5 (magic), I am seeing 205.9 with akra header, pc5, flash and dino tune. I think five horse power, and a less aggressive power curve, says a lot, no?

Either way, at this range, 200hp, what is there to complain about. I am planning to enjoy the bike and I am thankful to Romes and Mitch for setting me up. Love this fling thing.

Mad love,
W

How does this tune of the week differ from the wolfmans or guhls?
It's like a trombone. Shorten the power, lengthen the power.

If my weekend burn is on the aggressive side, I'm going to mess with the ign curves only. Fuel is math'd. They both interlock so whoever you play with, one calls the ball, the other follows. Like C said, it's just a math calc you go messing with a cell number.

The preset is the best of both worlds. The trombone slide is set in the middle. So a number uncorks more slide to the left or right. Woofy wants a tonedown. Grn sees cold wet spots coming and he wants a tunedown too.

From weekly tunes to seasonal tunes. That's how you toggle the preset. Tone it down or tune it up. Once you mess with the ignition curve, you know WATT happens? I can't close my hand or the spaghetti drops out, I take a Milli Serious grab at it.

Slowhen you guys see those dyno charts, the 14/R is more a nice fast, I'd peg it as a moped: calm, tame, pleasant power curve. For JoeA that is. So the power is there, but just calmer in the ignition curve. Mother Tea cannot release a subless/instant ignition curved kind of bike. JoeA could not handle this kind of power. So that bike is presented as a mild, but fast bike, and very manageable.

The ignition spreads out the power curve is all. The skid maps are obvious when you see the scale in numbers.

I guess I wasn't specific enough with my question, but after a bit of reading back and if I am reading it correctly. The difference is you tuned your bike completely with the ECU, no more PCV. If that's the case, then it's a huge difference and I that I understand.

Why detune? Put the fly maps back, and flash it to the L.

-1 in the back with SWB.

Hey wolf I told ya you might get that dam stutter. You have to keep the 43 on the rear and go to a 16 in the front to get rid of it or just go back to stock. So fatsix good question. Here is my opinion, I have talk to cblast on the phone about taking care of the flies either by removing them or flash. IMO I think what him and wolf wrote about having a great flash is more about the flies being opened sooner and out of the way. When my bike went from stock to full exhaust I felt the nice improvement but then I removed my flies totally and was like wow this thing pulls wayyyy harder and revs faster smashing into the redline. Then I got the guhls flash and even they said ( and romans on this very thread) that I won't notice that much with them removed. And they were right. Yes guhls added timing and such to my bike but to be honest removing your flies did it all for me. The flash FOR ME just gave me more rpms to race and no top speed and TC adjustment on the fly. To be honest I think they are just feeling the flies opening up more than anything. Because thats all I noticed. If they were to ride a bike with one of their new flashs and one with the flies removed they probably couldn't tell the difference. Because after I removed my flies and got a flash there was no difference really. But I was told that going into it. This bike with the flies gone by either removal or flashed out is what makes the huge difference, and that is what I'll always believe period. It's funny we all do different shit to are bikes with different exhaust and these different flashes and when mine just had the flies removed we ALL PULL THE SAME POWER pretty much everywhere on the dyno. And this is on different dynos but still all the same.

Never did that flawed mathematical device come anywhere NEAR MY ECU.

Zx yes sir, no biggie. I ordered the 16 front, when I stretch her I may go 16 43 or 17 45. But now her chain wheel is 42 tooth. Can't wait to test drive her without that stupid stutter.

Yeah wolf that stutter sucks big time. Go 16 43 not 17 45. No stutter, great acceleration, good top end. But even with that set up you'll never ever keep up with beast, because with his new helmet he gained at least 15hp thru out the revs!!!!!! I know I did.

Greenie, I was just explaining a tuning example. I hear ya.

zx, I may have to disagree. Let's physically remove the fliesubsay. Say the maps have not changed. Say the vacuum pull is sooner, faster, whatever the throttle opening is without the subs now. But here is the kicker. Lets say we are sustained in throttle @ 65mph. That vacuum pull is reading off the same map.

So for you to say the bikes are the same, because you lifted the subs open, and there is the performance change, no, can't be. Yes, a faster even happened, like a 1/5th throttle opening. But it's still plotting off the same map. As if you were in neutral and WOT the throttle to the rev limiter, it still followed the same map in ROM.

Now, when you flash the ign or fuel, this is being written in RAM, but is saved in ROM. So that new ignition curve is going to be read with subs in or out, as if the stock map was seeing the same sub removal, it's all about changing the map, not the fly removal.
