Reading this thread and saying to myself... it sure doesn't suck to have

Y'know Hub, I did a little research on early panhandlers and travelin medicine shows....a lot a parallels can be drawn here. A certain percentage of the population swore by these guys and for good reason. Most of their elixirs were laced with added ingredients like grain alchohol, opium or cocaine, just the thing to spice up a dreery existence on the plains!

Look, the bottom line here is for your bike to run as well as mine. I know, I know. But, you guys are chasing map and I am going out on mine coming back with a smile as wide as that 14's tail light.

There are no secretes to tuning. They are common sense steps. DJ says you tune for peak HP, not some fuel to air ratio. Every air pulse is different you go changing pipe and air cleaners.

I am very happy with the stock bike and how it runs. I do not need the cutter when I am setting up this bike to beat your maps.

$300 worth of getting screwed or what percentage do you want to give up on how to set the accel and whatever else is fresh in your mind.

I feel violated and that pain is Monster's pain. I'm having a hard time with the business aspect and how Jeffo is going to lose in the end.

Elixir fix her is that HOW-TO and gather your experience and lay it out. I doubt Monster will be compensated if Jeffo is making deposit with a chuckle. Not how I'd do business is step into a different animal and think the old way will cut it.

Like I said, it's like finding a shortcut key that was already programmed in windows. Same deal as how the physical application keystroke was accomplished by Jeffo. It was already written. You had to press the other steps that do the same thing. Did he rewrite DJ initial programming? Nope. He owns not one right to that shortcut key is like saying he own microsoft's programming and since he found how to hold Ctrl and press F4 = Try it!

Anyway, use is better typee the stepseas. Yeah, I won your $50 bucks you had to try it ^^^^ The key steps, that is. No secrets here. It's all about the tune. Ho have I got you covered!

Yea I hear ya Hub, I feel Monster's pain. He sounds like a nice college kid and probably don't have the money to throw away...I know I didn't when I was in college. We can prolly absorb the loss a little better than he can being a few years....ahmmmm ..further down the path to retirement. I knew what I was getting into, when I opened the map file and looked at the cells I burst out laughing and thought "big fella you just got your knickers pulled down around your ankles". I actually laughed that I could be so gullible ( i.e. stupid) to send somebody $50 sight unseen for a couple of keystrokes.

Jeffo will lay low for awhile and hit another site...there's always another town at the end of the trail....

This is a tough crowd.
I was a Hospital Inspector before I retired. My job was to tell people what they were doing wrong. What wasn't my job, but I did it anyway, was to tell them how to do it right. So, my job encompassed knowing how to do everybody's job. Not to brag about my IQ but lets just say I have a lot of knowlege. Well, nobody wants to hear that they are wrong. You can be right a thousand times and wrong once and, of course, everyone says you don't know what you're doing, you just don't know your job!
I've talked to jeffo and I think he's the real deal. Tuning little nuances into a map is pretty tricky. Frankly I'm more suprised at all the maps people have loved. Apparently they are a step beyond acceptable, they have spirit.
I do hope he can take a joke. I especially like this one...testing the PCV map...
