Freakin beautiful! Lovin that boost. I have to admit, there are times when I miss boost. I still think about those 5th gear power wheelies. The flip side is I have over 17,000 absolutely trouble free miles on Priscilla so far. Kinda hard to take on the added expense and commensurate running costs. 210+ reliable everyday rideable horsepower has been a lot of fun. Would I like more? Hell yes! Can I afford it? Hmmm. Nope. Am I willing to give up my everyday driver? Nope. I just can't. Just thinkin out loud and sharing my thoughts. Absolutely beautiful garage Romes! Nothing in the world I like more than a horsepower labratory!

Wicked cheap little mod...
Goes from feeling like a piece of wood to something you can actually use without going from nothing to full lock up.

I hate having it sitting like this.... new arm shipped yesterday - hope to have it beginning of next week, then a day to throw that on, lower the bike an inch front and back, then it's off to RCC turbos for the new head gasket and valve springs. Then boost goes up to 8lbs with no timing pulled. Should be interesting - hoping for 310ish at the tire. I hope I'm riding it again the last week of this month.

Thanks C,

I have since taken the seat off and got it redone in just black. I was hoping it was going to turn out a little darker tannish, but that didn't happen. That being said the man who did the job (Glen from AAA Upholstry in Newmarket) did an absolutely amazing job. Wolf, the old ladies purse is gone.

Awesome looking bike sir! 310 rw should produce some rather interesting moments.

Nope. Am I willing to give up my everyday driver? Nope. I just can't. Just thinkin out loud and sharing my thoughts. Absolutely beautiful garage Romes! Nothing in the world I like more than a horsepower labratory!

I think this is a common misconception. Boosted bikes have been my daily drivers for a very long time now. Where you go I go. They run cooler and better on fuel on long trips if you stay out of it. Remember, these are street kits Only, Same compression as stock. Same bottom End power roll up, BUT if your roll the wrist forward and load the Turbo spool up on these little Turbos is instant. Boost comes in at 3500 RPM if you hammer it. Lag = ZERO. Lets face it you most probally leave your drive way at more than 3500RPM. Drive normal it is normal. No Drama.

Are they as convenient as stock ??? Answer No, Not even close. If you want set it and forget this is most definately Not it. You may get two years trouble free or two minutes. Common sense plays a big role. Ten minute lesson and your ready. Ignore your lesson well, she will bite your Wallet Hard. Kits have come a long way but the theory remains the same. No biggy. Boost greed blows them up and most can't help it.

Thanks for the comments on the garage. Took me seven Months to build it but worth every second. After walking backwards and falling over bike headers for the third time I snapped and had a bit of mental break down. Just no room to play motorcycle. Had to be done or find a new hobby.

Well, it's a good thing I'm upping the boost to 8lbs.... I don't know if I could live with myself if you could pwn me Fazer... lol The race is on!

Beast your current set up he's got ya, Drive away got ya , that's if he can ride it ???

Once your swing arm is installed, boost upped, equals no contest you will be the clear winner. That swing arm very important.

As for Fazer I will say this, Fazer you went from a 88 hp(just a guess lol)Turd to a ZX14, and Now to boosted ZX14 in a very very short period of time.

With your current 17/45 gearing, almost bald no sticky back tire 8lbs of boost You can count on the fact she will hall the mail in one Fuck of a Hurry. Your A Mad Man. No swing arm and tooooo much boost equals ???? Lots of fun or ????? I will need you to sign a waver before you leave here ROFL. Seriously carefull carefull. But I get it.

IMO it's better to start off with more and learn to ride it than keep spending your way up. Been there done that got the T-Shirt. Two months in you will want more, human nature.

My new and improved 14 is going to rock. Now ill be trying to keep the wheel down!

Yep, that's a given. Please order new tire ASAP. spinning wheelies = wow

Let the horsepower wars begin!

Braking Directional wave Rotors take a absolute beating and never ever have warped. After four sets of going cheap it cost me huge to learn that lesson. My brother has had issues with two sets of galfers coming lose on the rivets and so have many others. Kind of a turn off but don't want to be shot for saying so as I know galfers have a Huge Huge following.

Well well well is this not a collection of desirable rides. The boys have been hard at work. Who shall be the Roll on Kings?
I see it this way
1) Ricker

2) Beastie

3) Fazer

I will be chewing popcorn and anticipating some good wholesome dog fighting. Exciting times we are in.

Enjoy boyz!

So out of curiosity, would you be able to hook a brother up with a mid pipe in the kit to go from the turbo to a CT Meg?

We were hoping to have a kit for around 4000 give or take. Like I said looks to be quite aways out. My riding buddy Turbo Steve is the main component as he is the welder. His current priorities are on building a welding shop. Without him all is at a stand still. All the jigs for the ZX14s have already been made just need space to work.

So out of curiosity, would you be able to hook a brother up with a mid pipe in the kit to go from the turbo to a CT Meg?

We could, but we have done this in the past and found the mid pipe to be to small and chokes off the turbo and there is some power loss, if it matters upto you ???? Pic here shows Turbo Steves Garret 30 mid piped to Muzzy.

Very nice Romans!!! Your kit just might be on the top of my list for when the day comes I actually commit to laying it all out and go big!!!

RCC is selling his kit for 5250. Richards kits are of the highest quality, Nothing cheap. My Bike bike was used for RD to fab up these kits for perfect fitment. FYI, Both Matt and I have these installed currently so you know they are going to fit when you order.

With the US dollar being high this might be the time for you guys to jump in ?

If your close I could do your install as Richard is insanly busy in the Busa world. Either way we can try and get you sorted.

I know this is Not for everyone but if guys are willing to shell out 2300 Dollars for TI Exhaust systems, money on flashes, many other upgrades for little gains Turbo should have no problem selling it self if your that guy ??? Just another way to look at it.

Anyway If you do decide to go this direction and I can help steer you in the do's and don't please don't hesitate to send me a pm or call. I will NEVER ask you for money so please don't have that worry. Cheers.
