Increasing the stock(std) settings on my bike (new) by two clicks in(comp, rebound) and one full turn tighter on the preload totally eliminated the 'tendency' to run wide...IF you could even call it that.I did notice at first a bit of feeling like she wanted to "kind of" run wide" on a few curves...but not all.So more riding for me will give me a better impression as to what where when and how she 'doing' this. The resetting as I said did stop that from happening though..I left the rear settings alone.

It may just be some getting used to the bike some .It could be as simple as that. The frame and geometry and cg have been changed.Add the engine weight increase...the mass has been moved around differently on this bike.

Grn? This is now 3 widers. We see a pattern? I set my suspension to plush the wider. Get it?

You know, I do run wide out of a turn. Interesting.

I see what you're saying...yes...but I don't think that settings for the earlier models are gonna result in the same kinds of results on this new bike.It 'may' appear the same physically...but they have made changes to the fork spring rates....compression and rebound abilities are MORE usable.Preload settings are also MORE sensitive,Just my .02C

In fact, I even told, Dogo, not follow me on the high in, low out. Well, I make hit hang like I'm cresting a wave, then slam it into the apex, 'come out wide.' Again, this has nothing to do with two different handling bikes. If I wide, that doubles my wide? If it does do something to my wide, is how I'm picturing it.

In other words, how does this compare to the 14 vs. wide, and now the R vs. wide? Are you pulling the bars back in to correct or are you letting the bike ride you?

I'm going by my experiences with my 07 vs the new bike.It was mentioned"your frontend was tired"...I think it may have been. The springs anyway.4 hard riding seasone at pretty good speed forces...ya...they were most likely getting tired. It wouldn't be easy trying to 'this one vs that one'...unless...both bikes had good suspension,say..new .Too many variables to make an accurate comparo...except in a general way.Take two new zxNinjas...factory set for the same rider...then see what they would do on the same set of testing conditions.NOW you could get a good Idea of the differences. But I can't compare my new bike against my old concerning suspension. Not really.I can only say...the new one feels much more responsive than MY "old"07.And that's all I can say about it,suspension wise.

I mean...in my opinion...the new one feels more"sharpness'oriented..but again....new springs, new spring rates, new steering head design...it's very hard to say exactly 'add so much of this...you'll get this' on the new one.The new bike has been changed in such a way that it's difficult to actually kind of 'have an idea' about WHAT it should feel like. The ride quality and such. It's supposed to be firmer, more responsive, and more adjustable...okay....it is.I will say....it feels quite different than my 07.Very much so.In a good way IMO.But.....it IS brand new.

Grn, I think if we rode bikes like the pee rest did, don't you think they'd brake for lunch and chat some? One followed the other, say hey behind me? Did you feel what should we write about? Compare notes? Why is wide coming up on the press, you, and one other?

That whole row of fleet enema, I'd be shitting on one, finding its g-spot........

I can't ask Chris directly... You go ask if he had a fleet enema out the mouth with the others, came up with wide or whom here said 'wide' and what about your compo 14 vs. R for wide was my ride one way, it is now a honk'inn out of the corners it goes wide, right? How fast where you wide'inn it when it made a wide turn and your eyes happened to be going the other direction?

RE: 2 reasons you shouldn't buy a 14R

Well...I 'tuned' my tired 07's frontend(bearings and all were fine,as were the head bearings)(who knows, they MAY have been tired as well...IDK..they never needed service...but that doesn't necessarily mean they were 'okay')for high speed riding on a good road surface as per the 07's manual. And I played with the settings as time went on.I had my 07 rolling into corners above 100 with NO tendency to go wide.It didn't drift at all.ONLY when they were set up for 'softer' ride quality did it show any drifting to the outside. And that was minimal.I didn't need to use any extra force to keep her on the line...except...when I increased my mph...well above 100.

With my new bike....as I said...the factory settings, and 100 mph corner speeds...I did feel a 'slight' need to increase bar countersteer pressure.HOWEVER...this bike is different,so....A mild adjustment on the frontend factory settings seemed to correct it...It IS a heavier bike...so it's naturally gonna be somewhat different moving that mass around at any given speed.Too soon to tell really. As UK said..the low speed handling is VERY nice...parking lot speeds and making u-turns and all.VERY NICE.

'Engine moved forward to enhance handling.' Without riding the bike, they seemed a need to narrow the frame some. Probably for the seatstance in the back? That narrow seat, and that plug in the back. Then, the plug at the neck area was stiffened, the wheels go light for the unsprung wieght. Like I said, the steer just sitting on the floor made the bike flick over in the ???? And there we go... 200 feet and a corner, I'm done with the road test LOL

I was VERY surprised actually when I first sat on my bike when it came in...the FIRST thing I did was turn the bars.I could immediately feel something was different.Could have been the slick cement floor...but I think it was more than that going on.I know the feeling while entering a turn and also transitioning on this bike...it is quicker.I can't compare it to a modded frontend on another 14...but against mine...very different.

There is an excellent write up on the new bike on "motorcyclist' magazine(online).Very accurate descriptions about the performance of the new one.

Okay...NO,there isn't yet.I read the magazine review today.Online?not yet...

You what? Couldn't you tell now in the garage? My steer turns are way different in my garage than a showroom floor. For example, I love a quick steering bike. If they did push the engine forward, yep, big time variable... I just may have to try one just for hee-haa-is-is.

To be quite honest, I'd never heard of a bike handling better on the showroom floor......until now.

But was it a wide open showroom with lots of space, or a tight technical showroom with lots of obsticals? You need all the facts.

You may get a fast color bike, but if you didn't floor shop for handling... OH Well??? Who's fault was that?

True and I'm thinking the type of surface on the showroom floor could have a fairly profound affect on the handling. Linoleum or waxed and polished concrete would probably handle quickest on the showroom floor while a more traditional broom finish concrete would tend to give give slower steering inputs and a more heavy feeling.

That is what I am saying exactly. For the last oh, say I package 27 years of lift da bike, wax da floor, take out the bike, bring in the bike(s)... And then there is the ride every bike in the shop just about is the rotation of years off the showroom floor.

If we sneak up on one, and mind you, that gayrage is has a skid mark on the 100% briefs as say, can you see that bike is the only bike that is being lifted and moved now is but one bike. Flow is the floor knows or only your hair dress her would know that the only lift off the floor of a kicker is a lick-her of a bike?

So if floor model says anything after 27 ears of shit, how do I get to my tool box and can walk around that bike on the rack? Sanda floor... I gotta stand dare, life her in my hands is her arm off the floor. I was looking hat her large marge is.

She looked at me with her breasts flung forward at me. Her 99% ear end was sticking out, I bumped my shewangher like she likes to have that wang tang her like you wouldn't want her breastits forward graze your eyes? I thought so. So as I liftit did her ear, I wrinkled a note as I wrote...

Is this mic on? (((Tap-Tap)))

Mr. Hubbish R-uBBus call on the line! I want her bad! She lifted me up, ass I wash did her plumber cleavage is imagine 99% bending over, you give a look at that sweetie!

That is why I take this bike on 'errands' ass it were. That traffic school woke me up taking that sleeping test. Answer? ASS, you fucking ass is if I didn't know!!! So, short runs it is. No little bottle of that shit kept me up wake a joke! You want to sit in front of a class and fall asleep, try traffic school. You give me that bottle, I bought two, and that is it for the public sea bow.

Dis is the wake up call... Dis to me is how you do it. You get slapped, watt were you tinking the tinkering with? I told you limp but you refuse to read the book. I refuse to listen to you when I was bus-widing that MB thinking he could endure a few turns and I was going to dive him up and down that coast is a slap the fuck did you buy that car for then?

Dis is day book. Day after day, you'll come crying to some website, waaaaaaaaaaaaaa, MY BIKE! Those were I don't have to tell you the website. That ape site would have spanked, not fumble the ball on the patented 02 to read the Kskids. Japan ass lost it's edge.

List INN ....... LIST INN!! But not a one listens to turtle so eat shit and die! Not my crime I said over here is the water... Over there is wine...Yeah, but to drink the wine, you first have to live on the water side to piss on the wine or piss on someone's morning cereal, I'm still buying the bike. Yeah, think about it. YOu both drink out of the same pure to piss on your rice or wine.

Wine her up and take a listen:

02 is the sniffer is a gascent. Patented. WOW
Clang gang is moonshine out the, and here I see the wheels tumble out the data. That is like analog. The 02 is sniffing wheel spin. Same data... Is-was-will ever be-gas out the back? Air to light? Are you slowly getting locked out of the air even is the idle?

Shift me patent not pending. The wines have it. So, they drink the wine, piss out the 02 air, all that shit going on and they hire-guns away from the fine-wines. Now, if hjarly is a mixed bag, then winesaki is my kawasaki.

Shit, if you can read that shit:

Footnotes read the 02 is not a tone window. That is an 02 to pick up your throttle opening. Before you see it, it can get there before you read it way after it happened. Don't let that 02 meter fool you. That of course is after-data. The happening data is up and out of there... Either way, it has to wave out in CAN com, or calc in the 02 software 1-0-1-0's in the powercommandereader box.

You guys are installing the outer shift arm assist, the winers have that patent internal. The trick is?; Is it any good? I'm looking at the wine bike because I gravitated to tech. The winers are leading if the japanese are hiring from the MM side. Maybe japan lost the passion?

If they sell anemic, if they are not listening now... Your on a turtle. I'm into big bike big HP... And something that fucking fits! I sat on that whatever pile of shit japnly, you think that big pile of shit would fit? Nope. Guess what fits? A wine bike.

Assholes do not know they are selling an old man bike with back and you're OLD bike is almost... It's almost dare and DIS your appointment is I missed dis one. Try again or insert blade, drag across stomacHP... Make HA DA HP!
