I'm doing the same thing...thinking on what You've shared.And trying some of it as well.What I find...interesting....is how this bike actually 'interacts' with it's owners.Not just mechanically...I've been following some of these posts from guys here who've bought this 14R...it does something very unique to each one.I said it before...this bike has WAY more with it than any other sportbike out there...including the 1st Gens.And I don't just mean...the ECU programs and such;)Yeah...I'm way stoked every time I saddle up on my bird...I got accused of 'gushing like a schoolgirl' at one point.Yup...I DO love this bike.

Now you know why Hub gifted me with the.... OKay...I'll GAS'D nowLOL!!!

Nasty on the E85 flash from Don ..I talked to Don about the same thing you asked .. He said the injectors were not maxed out on the Gen 2 zx14R with the E85 flash .. I asked if there was room for a 30 dry shot by adding more fuel to his map .. He said it would be very close and he would not do it without an injector upgrade ..The injectors on the ZX14R are smaller than the 2006 to 2008 , the 2009 to 2011 are smaller than the 2012 ZX14R ..That puts the new ZX14R injectors in the middle of two .. Wheelie has had good luck with his E85 map that he built for his p/c , he ran some good numbers in the summer heat with E85 ..The good thing about E85 is the a/f can be off pretty bad and still run better than pump gas , E85 is very forgiving on the tune unlike gasoline ..Most start off with adding 40% to the map and end up tuned at about 35% ...The 40% is pall park number to get you up and running , then tune from there ..

Yah its no progressed far enough to make me a candidate for a fused plate. But when if goes....PHHHUCK, it hurts to breathe and outside of orgasm nothing makes the pain stop. I am being followed by a specialist who insists it's best left alone. However it started at 27 and I am now 40. You can imagine how vulnerable my back is. I usually ignore it, but in full spasm PHUCK ME!

I passed on two rides with Beast and Romes. Now for that to happen that is PAIN!!!!

It's L3 L4 and L5. Wish me luck rupturing those.

Well...I don't really(kinda) hope they rupture...but I'll tell ya this...that nerve pressure that's causing that pain will miraculously disappear...for a while that is once it DOES rupture.Then...the surgery...which caps off a 'pain-free' break from that shit.;)Sounds to me like you're a prime candidate right now for a fusion...screw the disctectomy...where they go in and remove the ruptured disc pieces...just bypass all that...you'll be happy for sure.One shot...one surgery...fuse that puppy up...heal up...voila!

Zero gravity chair. Go to costco, see if they still have any? Chair is for your wide ass kind of fitsallsize. Supposedly is to relive or acts the contour of your back. So this zero angle might, and I say might help.

Ya...it could relieve the pain some...until you load your spine again..it won't fix the disc...ever.

Just kidding, really though wolf I DO feel your pain, I have had back problems since I was a teenager, got so bad one span of time, I was in constant pain for years, I was at the end of my rope at one point, was thinking of some stupid things, luckily I got it under control, had to quit doing hard physical labor like I had done most of my life.

I wish you the very best, hope you are back in the saddle soon brother ....

Well...that IS a possibility...one GOOD note though...if you can keep from injuring them any further...the disc material begins to 'harden' up in your late 40's and 50's...so that's good.The rupture however will not heal itself...sorry to say.Believe me...I wish it was not so.They really can only fuse it when the discs break open and fragment...rupture.At that point...they usually try to get ya to accept a disctectomy.I said NO after the second one...it wasn't doing any good.My Dr was the one who advised me on the fuse.THREE joints might be a bit much...IDK...but yeah...the non-fused joint above and below WILL start bearing more load....so ya gotta watch that...the firming up of the discs will definitely help stabilize the spine though;)So there's pros and cons to waiting.The pain definitely sucks...

Taking that tylenol every once in a while when she's acting up on ya will allow the muscles to relax some....especially when ya go ride.I feel for ya....yup...I do.Mine got so painful I passed out one morning just before it ruptured...really a bad scene....NOTHING could remove that pain.You can try laying flat on your back...and rest your calves and legs up on the couch...scoot yer ass all the way against the couch front...and relax your lower back....stay that way for a good 15-20...maybe more minutes.That'll help some in the short term;)It'll take a bit resting like that to get the muscles to actually mellow out...but they will.When they do....take advantage of it and stay that way for a good half hour.You'll feel it(relax).Do that as often as you can...get some blood flowing around that area...those tight muscles stop the bloodflow.You need all the flow you can get.

Green, how the heck do you know all this stuff??? So the calcification of AGE helps here?? That's kinda cool considering most back problems set in within ten years of that calcification hardness thing. So what should a guy with that disc bulged but not yet ruptured do to ease the everyday??? Stretching? What helps grn???
