RE: Starting to Worry About Grn

Oooo the suspense.... Guess he was not balls deep in a new chick... Sounds like bubba might be balls deep in him if he don't watch out.

LOL, butt that sounds more like...???

I agreed with BG not to share this new info

Or the fun goes out of the fun house. How much trouble can he be in?

it sounds like Grn is OK but may be in some trouble

That's the good part. We'd be unhappy he's 6 feet under. He needs a good prank.

We are going to try to contact him and see if there is anything we can do to help him out.

I'm in.

Hope this explains things for now.

You mean, let the conspiracy theories begin? I think more a good/bad/ugly scenario.

Good:
thing it was just speeding as if that's a crime and now doing some time is house arrest?
thing he's in one piece if it was bike related?

Bad:
if he didn't stop and admit it's a rush.
if evading is a crime and the crime was a bike running 200mph feels like a 45mph kind of ride?
if that is bad, that's BS.

Ugly:
says money is the root of all evil and extended credit is what credit?
says he is on this side of a life support machine.
says he did jump and hurt his dick... in a public bar [exposing himself]... for shots no less!

Folks, it looks like Grn was traveling at high speed and ran into a little trouble, that's all I'm gonna say. I think he's fine and the H2 is fine and I think maybe someday he will decide to come back and can then fill in the details if he wants. In the meantime, Grn, if you're reading this and there's anything I can do to help, I'm a phone call away. You know how to reach me bro.

Thanks again, Kruz. That doesn't sound nearly as bad as I (we?) had been afraid of.

Lets all chip in, buy a state, and have a zero speed limit where; no law shall abridge. This is redickeyless. What a con game from the city to the insurance company. Okay, I can dream can't I? WOT else could it be? 140 stuck in 3rd? The bike is not even breathing, here's your ticket, slow down.

Speed is relative, but that's like explaining that to who do I turn to? Joe Schlub vote for me?

GRN, if you happen to be reading this, great news you are okay (relative).
If I'm assuming correctly, whatever you do don't pick up the soap and we will see you back on the forum deck in the very near future...

Folks, it looks like Grn was traveling at high speed and ran into a little trouble, that's all I'm gonna say.

Sigh... I tire of this subterfuge. I shall now enact "rumor control" protocols.

Montana is indeed in the hoosegow... that much is accurate. I will now reveal why he's in there.

I purchased Monty's BlackStone Teks from him. All appeared above board until I finally put rubber on them last month. I discovered that the valve core was missing from the rear wheel. I called Monty and told him i wanted my $600 back. The short of it is he told me to get stuffed.

I called the AG in his state of residence, gave them the facts, and waited for them to contact me. 48 hours later the AG's office called me and reported that Monty had been charged with theft by deception and sentenced to 6 months in the county jail and ordered to pay me back my $600 plus €25,000 restitution. The AG added that they would appear as witness if I wished to pursue further remediation in civil court, which I politely declined.

And now you know what really transpired.

hag, very astute in gaining restitution in Pounds rather than $US.
You sure are a thinker.

Damn expensive valve core though...

Listen, I threw all that together in three minutes so cut me some slack.

The part about the valve core missing is a hunnerd percent true, though.

Yannih, I read the obit and it is the wrong age, wrong bike and it was in September. Also I never heard anything about Grn being married or having relatives. I think he's on his own which makes this much harder. There are two more smoke shops in Kalispell I can check out. If anyone knows his last name it would help. Also the spelling of his first name, e.g. Monty, Montey, Montie or Monte? That also might be a nickname like Bud or Bubba, might not be his regular first name. I thought for sure the bike shop would have info as he sounded like a regular there. Rook do you have more details like an address? I can Google and find his neighbor's on either side and give them a call. This is really odd and I would like to get closure so I know what happened to him.

Monty is how he spells it, i do know his second name, but not sure if its my business to say

Grn never gave me power of attorney in his absence. My feeling is that we should let Grn tell us the story when he returns. If he wanted us to know anything, he would have posted. I have no address but the police said they talked to neighbors and were told Monty lives elsewhere right now. He's not dead or his phone would be dead too. I'm just as curious as everyone. I expected he'd be back by now so I started wondering all sorts of stuff like you guys.

Monty has a sense of humor. He will get a kick out of this. It shows how much he means to us all. He shoulda prolly left some kind of announcement but he didn't so i guess he deserves all the ribbing.

Per Kruz's various recent posts I don't think you should post Monty's last name.

You guys. Monty told me exactly what had happened and why he'd be absent. Seems to me he said he'd be back in April...or May? I hope he did not mean 2017. After not appearing in April, I started to wonder if he had made up a story which is where I was at at the beginning of this thread. Kruz had asked me WTF Grn was so many times I finally cracked and told him what Grn had told me and we both agreed it all did not seem to add up. Now it appears that Monty was 100% honest with me but he is simply delayed for some reason.

It's nothing heinous. We all have either been in this situation or have some family member/friend who was. If Grn doesn't show within 7 moths, that's a year. I'll spill my guts to you all then. Until that time, I'm . What may have transpired since his absence is unknown to me. I think anyone else who knows the details probably should also keep silent a while. As far as the jokes, those are some good ones. I think Grn will appreciate that.

At the end of 2014, I stopped participating here, and took a full year break from the forum. I contacted two people, and shared with them privately the reasons why I was staying away. It was my choice. I would've been mad if anyone tried to spill the beans about my personal business.

While I understand people's concerns, in my opinion, everyone should respect the man's right to privacy. He is probably reading this, and I'm certain he'll let us know when he is ready to come back and participate in the forum again.

To be honest, I don't give two shits why GRN is away and I certainly don't need to know any details.
Just as long as the guy is okay.
That's all I ever wanted to know...
