Wolfy, I'll show you how old this video is, how many years have gone buy, and the 14 has has yet to have a steering damping instrument attached somewhere. Run thru the 3 videos above, see if they need one for this model too.
Funny you should ass is me one myself. If it's limping the tre, or installing dampener on the 14, nothing has changed; NOLTT; I have to show you a pee-dick-shun is here comes the slapping add-lib, off the chin strap, raw my footage and who stands on my carpet thinking I'm talking about you... Better fill in the blank who it is cause and effect I'm not pointing fingers.
I turn into "Squidly Must Have" assif I turn into a Jake Hold ON! HOLD ON!

HAHAHAHA! Reminds me of the time I dropped a lot of acid and spent the day on my ke100 cruising around and getting banned for life from the local golf course...

Hub, where can I find a jellydong dampener like the one in the video? I checked Dennis Kirk, no dice. Adam & Eve? Does it vibrate the handlebars? I think some titty tassels on the bar ends would be sweet.
Okie - that white looks wicked!

ah, nasty? you don't want to be hanging with a guy that sort of tells guys they more or less squiddy did he do that to his bike? To eachis own frontal nudity I say.
Butthen again, I have to say in certain terms I follow the savvy pages is ask why was there a reach around when all you need to do is WATT Hub wasting his words with NOL'inn'ing. Toggle my flash and save is my cash. Mappiss crap is I am in a leaner meaner mode.
So you have your fun. I'll be flashing/hacking soon on my end shortly. Meanwhile, I have to slap your wallets is to get your attention but the dil does not work either. See grn's latest post handing over some coin to Ivan and the buzz is still there? LOL
And you wonder why that slap keeps pounding on the runner uppers who can't even tune their own bike.

Wolfy, we are sitting on the same bike. The is a heavy bike so you want some quick steer it begins to topple over. I like to keep my feet up and time the lights around here. The cars in back see me creep up to the line swapping bar back and forth, they stay back. Eventually they have to stop, but I'm still in the slow creep. So they are way back there is sort of a streetactic: you don't get them almost tailgating you at a stop. It gives you a safety gap. Fuc'em!
That's one reason I won't use the tank slapper shock. Pikes Peak seems like a closer IOM for a bucket list. One mistake and off the cliff you go. Same as the IOM. It's one brick wall short of...

Hub all kidding aside but from my training and schooling you have alot of the same characteristics of a serial killer. And im not kidding. I with fellow workers watched some of your older videos and one stated we would love to know who you are or where you lived just to check you out. You have any women or kids locked up in your attic too????? Your very interesting. Your writing your views and your behavior. If anyone here ever had a psychology course they would understand.

Racer, I'd like to have some psyc figure me out is goof the crap out of them. Take your schooled theories and the sun don't shine sort of someone's idea of a killer's concepts? I let spiders live in my house. I lie to animals. Especially poodles. Other than that, I abuse bikes and beat up tires.

Wolfy,
No damper. Why? Watch grn's video. He's between 193km-225km range and its neck is not twitching at all. Even hand off, it does no upset the steering. The tank slapping is light or no hands on bars [if] you can hold on. Then let the neck steer itself straight again. The faster it can snap to center, it says I am steering straight.
If say the damper was set hard; the wheel would run straight; but the damper keeps dragging the front end from swapping back to center: is 'front patch push.' And if it keeps pushing to one side = High side!
As long as it steers to center; keeps going straight; and you can't steer it out = Low side.
The '06 placed me in tankslap mode. My immediate reaction was to create air gaps in my palms and grips. It happened so fast, squirted my shorts. I let the slaps shake themselves out. I know I was still holding the throttle but not as grippy. I was still in control of that gas, because it sort of made you think gassing it is momentum, or when it doubt in other words.
The R with the neck change; the rear frame brace; the extended swing arm: changed how this bike steers. And you want me to slow what feels slow already? No damper to the R for me either. The 14 had neutral steer. This R? I'm still trying to figure it out. Like night and day are those 2 gens.

Racer, see how the both of you disagree? Someone writes a thesis you apply it and it's golden are the words? What I deal with it runs in the absolute so there is without question in my world. Your science is flawed is to argue. If you run out of gas, have spark and compression, the bike does not run because of the gas... That runs in the absolute, there is no dispute.
See how that goes? Who came along and disputed Freud for his work? Does he have a few fallacies of the phallic? And now someone disputes it? That someone thinks this is the answer and now someday someone will frued his work on him. So bottom line, better anal eyes the bike not the brain.
I'll goof your territory. Try to goof mine... Pg. 3-43.

Wolfman, have you tried tuning your suspension yet? Most tank slappers can be traced back to suspension related. I had a few gnarly wobblers while tuning mine as a result of the assend being too soft allowing the the front to get light exiting the corners. That was my experience, there are a lot of suspension variables that can cause tank slappers. The chassis geometry makes this bike want to steer straight. Virtually eliminating the need for a dampener once you have the suspension tuned for your riding style.
Then again I could be way off base, suspension tuning and chassis geometry have always been a weakness in my mechanical skills. Correct me if I am wrong.

Nasty thank you, I haven't dialed in any suspension stuff as I am still losing weight. When I drop to my desired 206lbs, I am going to dial it in. Right now I am 236lbs. I get some wobbles when I gas hard and the front wheel comes up a bit. Cornering is always rough as the stock tires really interfear with a wooden feel, so that's hatd to tell. Basically could do my suspension adjustment now as you suggested and I could see.
Basically I'd rather not have a damper and the advive here (you don't need one) has been fantastic!

Hub,
Alfred Adler, Carl Yung, Karen Horney all disagreed with elements of Freud's theory but they all agreed that behaviour is a result of negative unconcious experiences that when unlocked and understood could free the patient from suffering!
I've psychoanalized myself, and I know where my impulse to nonconforming opposition comes freom. My prescribed treatment you ask? One green ZX14 taken 3 times a week is just about the right amount of theraphy I need to cope!
