Vey Cool picture .. But the picture showed me two things that are killing MPH ...While the tire you have hooks very good it's a MPH killer ... Add to that low psi KILLS MPH big time .. Brocks slugger bike ran the factory tire at STOCK psi .. That is right 41 PSI .. I ran a power one at 39 PSI .. That could have a lot to do with your great ETs and Low MPH ..

It's called rolling resistance, and on a cool day I think smoking has it on the nose running michelin (all I ride On) and 39 should get you good hook, at least that is works when I go out to the track.

It's looking like the Power One is around $260 compared to the Shinko for $140. Looks like the money is best spent elsewhere. The tire i'm using will carry me through the rest of the season. It's hard to justify moving away from a tire that has NEVER spun with me at the line and will dead hook on a full power, front strapped, aggressive launch 90% of the time on the street when I'm playing around close to the house.

Yeah but if you want your mph back you have to get your rolling resistance down, the power one will hook for you!!

I got the michelin 2ct on mine and they hardly spin and spin at the track and thats a street tire, but the power one is a hooker!

Pressure is at 30.30
Temp is at 65 currently and the dewpoint is at 47.
Humidity is at 46%.
DA is 530 and falling! I'm gunning for 8s on a SWB tonight and I won't be satisfied until I break into that zone. There is a small group of riders that have broken into the 8s bracket on stock motor stock wheelbase street bikes and I WILL have my name on that list. O and still footshifting as well.
Once I do it with stock bearings, stock wheels, stock shock, and stock wheelbase I may stretch her on out and see how far into the 8s I can dig. We will see what an average skill average weight rider can do. I will let you guys know.
