Yup... I'll smoke up some ribs.

Hell... if enough guys are game, we can rent the track and have it all to ourselves.

Do it! Best riding weather here is July-Sept... The track (and myself) is/are also in the shadow of the Olympic National Park... Ton's to do!

Far be from me to be extremely critical of anyone's riding style but I'd say the duals sport guy aught to save the foot out moves for the dirt track.

That's Sumo style, Rook... Gotta love how those things eat even sportbikes in the corners.

I didn't even intend to make a funny there.

I have never seen a GP race or any track/road racing footage where a guy put his foot down. Must admit, I don't watch the races in full but have seen many a youtube clip. they are feet up unless once in a while they panic and almost crash.
............which is close to ONE reason riders say they do this thing. Some feel more confident that they can keep the bike up with a foot out. Can find NO clips but have treaqd posts on a few forums, yes this is becoming a popular technique but there is yet no definite purpose to it.

yeah, ok. Still sounds dumb to me vcuz if you don't keep the bike up there goes your lower leg. IDK. this sticking of the leg out it almost seems.......unmanly. or sumthin. lol but who will argue that with Rossi?? not

I think Rossi does that to take more space as well... not sure... in an interview stoner said that sometimes they can't help it they brake so hard their leg get thrown off. In gp every second count big time so I don't think they would do it to look cool.

I might just try and save a nest egg and throw the bike in the back of the truck and head up there for a track day next season!

That would be sweet! I have a feeling there are gonna be a lot of beers, bbq's, and benchracing going on at my place afterwards.
