I think Grn is probably getting a kick out of this thread if he is able to get onto the internet wherever he's at, he's got pretty thick skin and will come back I think, when he can. I don't condone what he did, my youngest daughter got busted for DUI a few years ago after refusing to take a field sobriety test, the financial and emotional toll were heavy but I think had the desired effect on her behavior. She still drinks but stays out from behind the wheel, at least that's what I hear. I had to use tough love on her, things had gotten to serious for me to control the situation any longer. I'm not condemning Grn, he's got a problem and is being forced to deal with it, thank GOD he didn't kill himself or an innocent bystander... or lived in Texas. Here they lock you up and throw away the key after the third DUI, five to ten years. As far as judgement, it's pretty much safe to say any one hearing this has probably exceeded the legal speed limit many times himself, that's an addiction too. None of us are immune from addictions, goes back to the casting the first stone thing.

Well some good news possibly. Have not been able to confirm this yet but I have some new information that says Grn may be doing time in rehab and not the pokey. That would be like doing time at Club Med compared to a State facility, hope he gets well and gets back to riding soon.

Sounds like possibly good news for Grn. Tks again for the update.

I've been wondering every now and again myself. I haven't heard a peep. I was just thinking about bringing the thread back yesterday. I'd check on him right now but it's past midnight here. I'll give him a call tomorrow.

My brother did a 6 month treatment plan a few years ago. If he had more than one DWI/DUI then it would be smart to check yourself in to a treatment center before you go in front of the judge.

Sounds like that may have been the case.

I hope he's OK and gets through the darkness and comes out on the other side and a new start!

LOL..that just makes it worse!I truly missed all you here.I'm okay now.Kruz is right....totally selfish action(s)on my part.I am fortunate no ones been killed.Me and alcohol don't fit.I feel good.I won't be drinking again...a day at a time...it wasn't like an everyday thing at all..but with my problem...it gets ugly real fast.Believe me...I have no mercy for my drinking or anyone else who drives drinking.It's a horrible deal.I'm just really glad I get a chance to start(life) again....I'm glad I was stopped when I was....saved my life and who knows who elses.
