You mean the rim turns in tire?
Never heard of that and thatwould mean the whole bead broke on both sides of the tire. I think that is something that was cooked up by the guy who said air will escape from your tire valves at 200 mph because the centrifugal force opens the valve.

@ Rook.... Yes.. And it wasn't a casual chat,, happened on my bike
it didnt lose air, if it broke the bead it would of lost air.. did check and its where i left it last
but I did drop it down to 36 from 41 prior to me noticing
Not sure if I should be concerned, there is a weight on the back rim and the relation between
The dot and the valve did move apprx. 15 degrees.. Not sure if that will throw anything off...Not feeling any strange vibes guess I'll just keep an eye

Kevin,, OEM tires, never seen this before too..
Really don't think it's a big deal, don't feel anything out of the norm, if anything
It's just a wow factor for me.. Taking her in this week for the first service and see what they say

If that is possible it's pretty amazing. There have been an awful lot of boosted bikes making twice the hp/tq but I haven't heard of those spinning tires in rims. I'm not so sure I would shrug it off lightly....I mean, keep an eye on it.

In order for the tire to rotate on the rim, the traction between the tire and the road has to be greater than the friction of the tire bead on the rim. I wonder what abnormal circumstance must exist in order for this to happen. Wouldn't the tire just slip on the road and burn rubber?

Thanks for doing the research.. And yeah enjoying myself with this thing.... YIKES!!
Runner, I'm abnormal.. I have no confidence in these M5's was complaining aboutrhem earlier,
Slips while leaned over on slower tight turns.... Oddly it doesn't break loose while straight up
(unless cold) Dropped the press down to 36 seems a little better
No explanation.... First time for me, but Snuffy did the research and seems to be common
So, not worried anymore...scheduled a first service this Thursday so depends on my mood maybe I'll
Have them correct it... But as I mentioned don't really feel anything out of whack.. Balance wise

Pardon me while I wipe the egg off my face.Maybe I can redeem myself; Too much soap in that soapy water? Left a residue on the rip and didn't let the bead seat fully?
