Painting the aerodynamic sides

Heya,

Anyone ever painted the black aerodynamic plastics on the sides? If so, got any pics, and a explanation of how u did it so it wont come off after a while?

Im planning on painting the top edges the same color as my bike, but im not sure what the best way is to do so.

had mine painted by a body shop

painted mine ...stripped em taped em sprayed em ..and am gunna do it all again in a different color soonish
