I know....it doesn't happen too much...but....usually it happens on one of those obscure problems that you most likely wouldn't see much.No way am I saying YOUR posts about how to's and such are in that category(course, you knew that). But like the cam sensor thingy.Maybe he'll post up...I hope so.
"ingrates"...well,I wasn't exactly thinking THAT...but,now that ya mention it!
(((((J/K!!!))))
And before ANYONE gets the wrong idea here....I personally do not care if I get thanked.Only what the fix was.I don't care who gets any 'credit'....I just want to ride!
So I'm waiting to see if my man from Portugal actually has or is gonna check the ignition rotor.Hmmmmmm.Or IF it's an aftermarket one.See what I mean?I give him props though...he did explain "transmission Kit".....so score one
!AND...he did mention REMOVING the Radiator and Headers....scores AGAIN!!!!
I know I kinda get stuck on stupid whenever I hear a post about "cam sensor(s)".That whole shebang I went through with mine was WAY frustrating.Amazing to me that an experienced Kawasaki guy(s) couldn't 'get' what I was saying.(not here...nobody here)...but you'd think that an experienced motorcycle mechanic would link'cam position' with erratic engine behavior and at least think SOMETHING about the timing.I spent almost two weeks trying to figure out just what was happening. From perfect running...to not firing(all in the same ride). It was quite an experience! You guys know from my 'explanations' I'm pretty thorough with things I have going on(symptoms). If a guy came to you and said...My exhaust suddenly changed pitch, and the engine started backfiring when I slowed down, and after I stopped,it shut off...and refused to fire.Then,BAM...suddenly,it fired right up and ran the best mileage it's ever seen, only to change completely within several miles and get the worst mileage it's ever seen...accompanied with weak engine response and low power.Think you could kinda put that together with......timing?Or that it idled fine one time...then went totally south the next startup.ESPECIALLY with a code flashing 23.
