Three years ago, my brother has a 2008 ZX-14 accident and he has died from it. A few months ago, I have finally got title that I am able to sell it. It is 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 (ZX1400C8F) and it only has 873 miles on it. Check the picture of it: http://goo.gl/LEVCDD

The only damaged is fairing, handles, mirrors, headlights and big dent on the fuel tank.

Please be very honest with me. How much should I be selling it for? $3000? I don't know much about the motorcycle. I am a muscle car guy.

Very sorry to hear about your brother. As far as the bike goes unfortunately I don't think you'll get much for it. I've seen 08's going for less than 6k that are in pristine condition. If you have time to mess with it you may make out better parting it out on ebay. I also wouldn't advertise that the rider died in the accident, most motorcycle riders are superstitious and will look elsewhere. Good luck.

I considered selling my 08 with 30,000 miles a couple years back and I would have asked 6k for it.

Maybe it's just camera distortion but the forks look crooked like maybe the clamps were bent. The dash was torn off. I'd think the frame is also bent. Half of the fairings are broken and I would guess most of the rest are scratched if this was a crash at speed. That is a couple grand right there to replace or repaint fairings. I'm sure there were some wires torn out. The bike does not look like it is worth fixing to ride again. A wrecked bike, I'd say you might get 1500 from someone who wants it for parts but probably not a lot more than that. If you sell one part a time on Ebay, you might make out better but it would be a lot of time on the computer and wrenching.

Judging by the pics your best bet is to part it out...
Only thing that doesn't look destroyed is the motor.... even the frame is scraped up ....
