Request Advice For Valkyrie Air Shocks
07/24/10 1:44 PM

Greetings:
I have a 1997 Honda Valkyrie with no luggage bags or windshield.
It's the lightest model.
I never carry passengers or anything heavy and I use the bike for leisurely cruising.
I weigh ~ 120#.
I LIKE A SOFT RIDE.
I've been thinking about getting a set of Progressive 416 air shocks for my Valkyrie.
If I do, will they give me a nice soft ride?
I am not knowledgeable about shocks but I know many of you are; I seek your counsel.
What can you tell me about the model 416 air shocks for a Valkyrie.
Do you have other shock recommendations?

My vulcan had air assisted shocks I believe... it was a nice ride until you hit a pot hole and they wud bottom out pretty quick even with the max psi in them... but on a nice highway or well kept city road very smooth.... they were stock and I am 215lbs....
