Paris is gorgeous, but comes with more baggage than a Diva on a cruise. No thanks, more trouble than its worth.
And laughable as "going biker". Paris and hand-eye coordination for operating one don't go, err... hand in hand.
Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind 1 Night in Paris. :)

Personally, although I'm definitely not a Paris Hilton fan, in these troubled times where racing teams are struggling more than ever, I don't think her foray into the sport will hurt publicity, if not help it. Anytime someone can breathe a little new life into MotoGP, well, that's gotta be a good thing. My buck fitty.

Unfortunately alot of our kids look up to idiots like Paris Hilton, and their outrageous, me me me behavior as role models. Between all the celebrity show crap and media coverage + paying and stroking of these self-absorbed idiots, tv's becoming something unsafe for American children imo. Part of the reason our countries attitude is changing like it is. The young generation has been raised by the media and given all the wrong messages. And its just getting worse.
The only way that bimbo should be involved with bikes is being drug behind one for about 30 miles. I'd gladly do it
Remember this is coming from a father who limited his daughters tv watching as a child, and encouraged her to find other forms of entertainment, including reading She grew into a wonderful, down to earth, well educated young adult
Personally I think uncontrolled access to tv for children is like letting the Paris Hilton's of this world raise your children lol.

no tv in this house and so far nobody is complaining.
it is interesting that Paris has had a fairly enduring career as a professional celebrity in spite of having no particular expertise or talent. Imagine a day when celebrities devote all of their efforts toward keeping we ordinary folks interested in their amazing lives as celebrities.

"Paris and hand-eye coordination for operating one don't go, err... hand in hand. "
You obviously have not seen her craddling the jewels while wolfing the knob and stroking for the finish.
Her only fault is letting up on the throttle as she crosses the finish line.
She may be a money shot dodger, but she's plenty coordinated. :o)

It goes like this... I know someone who knows someone and all that BS. Well, when she is walking the carpet with all the rest, I get to hear the beef of those low life's with money. See, the thing is, these hangers-on are there a lot. So, they see the same old red carpet crowd.
That singer that was with the bicycle guy with cancer and all the french wins? She's not so nice is about all one can say.
Mariah Carey's husband; IS a sweetheart. She's a lucky woman.
Jamie's got a gun guitar player? I had his work as top 5 on my list of guitar players until I found out... I don't wanna say any more.
And then came Hilton. The underground says different. 1 out of 4 so called, 'stars' that you would not even want to hang out with, just think how that bicycle champ was treated... LOL... Like he couldn't pedal fast enough out of there is my guess.
Damn pussy slows you down trying to get away... Right? Am I right? LOL

Has anyone noticed, she ownes a 125 team? A support class, who's races are only aired on SPEED at 1:00 AM on Tuesday morning.
I don't think any one who follows MotoGP, let alone anyone who is obsessed enough with motorcycle racing to record and watch the 125s, will be swayed one way or the other by her being involved.
In this country at least, the word of someone like Paris sponsering even a 125 team, would likely bring more casual curiosity and interest TO the sport, than run it away.
I doubt it will last more than one season (ala Antonio Bandaras), but why not?
I just wish Barry Sheene was here to see it. I'm sure he'd approve

Yes it does!
Not that Ms Hilton is all that, but anything that promotes MotoGP here in the states is a good thing. MotoGP is large in europe, but here we get very small media coverage, the occasional SpeedTV hour. I would love to see MotoGP get major sport media coverage, with larger budgets for many high quality cameras, and excellent slow-mo. Of course it won't happen at this time, we don't have a national hero yet. Lorenzo & Rossi are just too huge and too talented. Hayden & Spies are competitive but the little Tiger Woods in the wings has yet to grow up. So the american market will catch a little heat and fascination with Paris's name attached, not to mention Banderas with Jack & Jones. We need an action movie (not the silly B-movie that becomes a footnote, but a film that captures what MotoGP did last year and set up for 2011: the Lorenzo/Rossi fight). If Tom Cruise, the Terminator, Matt Damon, or any other talented hero actor takes part... then maybe we fans of MotoGP get to benefit.
With any luck, she'll sign that little Tiger to her 125cc class.
