I am looking to lower my pegs on my zx14 and do not know weather to go with some type of peg lowering kit or the buell peg mod. If I do the buell mod does anyone know the model # or what buell model the pegs are off of ? What do you guys think ?

I have heard not so good things about the Corbin kit, I personally would stay away from it. Some other members may be able to expand on this more than I. I went with the Buell pegs and used the Buell XB Rider Footpeg Kit, N0006.1AD you will need to do some modification like a bit of grinding on the lower, or upper half your choice. Overall it is an easy mod that give you a bit more leg room. Measure twice and grind once!

Buell pegs are the way to go. Very easy to modify and work great. It's been so long sence I did mine, I don't remember the part #. I'm sure someone will know. All you do is inlarge the hole a little and they bolt right on. Very, very easy. I actually still have a pair that are chrome laying around the house, if your interested.

I'm thinking about $30.00 plus shipping. So somewhere around 35 or 40 total. I had them on my 14 for about a month. So they are ready to bolt right on.
I bought them new and had them chromed in Indianapolis.

Bud, how much do those pegs affect your cornering clearance?
Not as much as you'd think. The biggest thing was, I'm about 6'4" so it put my foot at an angle that my toe would drag earlier. The first few times that happens it kinda freaks you out. But you get used to it.

The ones pictured above are:
N0006.1AD set about $30The ones on mine are Buell Ulysses. These kinda look like paddle feet but do a google to see the looks.
N0502.1AK
N0503.1AK
Actually I paid about $25.00 each plus about $40.00 to chrome. But maybe the Hardley dealer in my area is a little higher than others.

I forgot to add that I had to drill the pin hole to fit the Kawi pin but that was it.
I did an online search for the ones pictured and I think it was $37 with shipping but I bought 2 sets with the intention of using them on my 14 and 1100 REX then decided to try the paddle foot Ulysses and liked them but they were a few more dollars.

OK I've slept on it. You've got a deal. If you still want them. Sense lytnin is trying to talk me down, I'll go for it before he has you convinced I should be paying you to take them. A-hole Really, the only reason I had to think about it is. I was holding on to them to put on my new 14. But it looks like it'll be a little longer before I can get another one. And he's wrong. I've got at least a 100 bucks in them. With shipping back and forth, labor and everything else that goes into having a custom part made. But they're just setting on the garage self and if I can help a fellow rider out. That's good enough for me. So if you still want them I've send you my contact info. Thanks, Bud

Sorry Bud, I did not read carefully thru the whole thread to realize someone was thinking about selling a set. My bad and I will offer to cover shipping to lessen your loss.
That is what happens when one spends half a day at work (12 hrs) all the time then tries to read threads thru blurry eyes.

It's cool. I'm not doing it to make money. They're just setting around and he wants a pair. So I'm just tring to help out.

I do have a paypal account. I just don't know how to do that. If you give me an e-mail and I'll email you with my address and you can send a cashiers check. I'll have them boxed and ready to go. I'm in Illinois so it should not take more then 2 or 3 days to get them to you once I get it. If you know how to put the money in my paypal, that's cool to.

Paypal is simple. All I need is your email adress, I send you the payment and you log in to your account and the money will be there. Then you can choose to transfer it in to your bank account or use it for whatever you want, such as ebay or anything that accepts paypal. You will receive a email when payment is received. If you do not want to do it that way I can just send a maney order. It's up to you.
