Replacement brake rotors
05/24/23 7:31 AM

I want to replace the rotors on my '22 14R because one is warped. I was planning on Brembo T-Drive or Supersports but I can't find a vendor that has them in stock. It appears they are a couple of months behind.

I know there are several other brands that have been around a while, e.g., Braking, Galfer, EBC. My shop does not recommend anything but Brembo. I actually got an OEM Brembo from the dealer, but it when I checked the runout after mounting it, .020" off.

Can anyone recommend, from personal experience, a quality rotor that is strong and will not warp under normal street use?

Thanks for the help.

I put the Braking rotors on mine approximately a year ago and they have been fantastic. I’ve given them death countless times and they beg for more. Zero warping. They are beautiful as well.

I burned out a set of front pads in 20k miles. Discs are not warped, but has an edge where the pads did not hit that part and are shot, but I'll go thru another set to see what happens short of a warp run out at the discs.

We hard braking? I mostly engine brake and never stomp on the brakes. Then again, I use the fronts only so they wear faster.

Found a set of Brembo Supersports. 320mm, 10 over. With new HH pads, fabulous.
